ADJUSTABLE CAMBER WHEELCHAIR DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Wheelchair devices and systems that have wheels with adjustable camber. The device has a bracket attached to a wheelchair and a receiver configured to couple to the axle of the wheel. The position of the receiver relative to the bracket can be adjusted by the user to alter the position of the axle relative to the bracket, thereby altering the camber in the rear wheel. A top portion of the rear wheel can remain in a vertical plane of travel regardless of the amount of camber in the wheel and a bottom portion of the rear wheel can remain in a horizontal plane.
Angle adjustment assembly
An angle adjustment assembly comprises a first member configured to pivot about a first axis. A second member is configured to rotate about a second axis transverse to the first axis. The first member is eccentrically supported in relation to the second member so that rotation of the second member produces pivotal movement of the first member. A third member may be configured to rotate about a third axis transverse to the first axis. The second member may be eccentrically supported in relation to the third member so that rotation of the third member further produces pivotal movement of the first member. The second member may comprise an inner cam member. The third member may comprise an outer cam member. The first member may be a caster stem for supporting a wheelchair caster assembly, or alternatively, an axle receiver for supporting an axle of a wheelchair drive wheel.
Auxiliary drive device for a wheelchair
An auxiliary drive device for a wheelchair has at least one freely pivotable electrically driven drive wheel and a coupling mechanism for coupling the auxiliary drive device to the wheelchair. The coupling mechanism includes a movable locking element which is movably supported in the coupling mechanism. The movable locking element can be in a locking position in which it causes locking in a positive-locking manner so that the auxiliary drive device is coupled to the wheelchair and, by operation of a handle, the locking element can be moved in a release position in which uncoupling of the auxiliary drive device from the wheelchair is possible.
Vehicle
A vehicle includes at least three wheels including a steered wheel, at least one drive source to drive at least two of the wheels, and a front suspension including an upper arm and a lower arm supporting the steered wheel. In a state where the vehicle is stationary on a level road surface, an anhedral angle of the lower arm is larger than an anhedral angle of the upper arm, and a difference between the anhedral angle of the lower arm and the anhedral angle of the upper arm is 5 degrees or more.
