Method for operating a textile machine with work stations having their own handling elements for piecing of a thread, and a textile machine with own work stations having their own handling elements
A method is provided for operating a textile machine, with a multiple number of adjacent work stations having a respective spinning unit with a spinning device and/or one winding device and handling elements for piecing a thread or for connecting two thread ends. If production is interrupted, a thread end on the bobbin side is provided to a defined receiving position at the work station. For piecing the thread or for connecting the thread ends, the thread end on the bobbin is cut to length by the work station work elements, received from the receiving position, prepared for piecing or for connecting and pieced up or connected. A thread end wound on the bobbin is sought out by means of a thread seeking device deliverable to multiple work stations of the textile machine, and the thread end is subsequently moved into the receiving position at the work station, from which it is received by the work station work element of the work station, in particular by a handling element of its own work station. A corresponding textile machine is also provided.

Method for operating a textile machine, and a textile machine
A method is provided for operating a textile machine having a plurality of work stations wherein, during normal operation of the work stations, a yarn is produced or is rewound from a delivery coil onto a receiver coil. The normal operation is initiated at the individual work stations after a stop of the textile machine, or is interrupted at certain time intervals by a service operation in the form of a piecing process, a tube changing process, or a yarn joining process. The service operations are divided into several partial sequences. A pending partial sequence for one of the service operations is carried out so long as energy resources required for carrying out the pending partial sequence are available independent of whether the energy resources for carrying out the other partial sequences for the service operation are available.

Spinning machine and method for operating a spinning machine with a multiple number of spinning stations
A method is provided for operating a spinning machine with a multiple number of spinning stations. In the normal case, the individual spinning stations are supplied with a fiber material and produce a yarn. Upon the occurrence of predefined events, yarn production is interrupted at individual or all spinning stations, whereas such spinning stations are, when required, subjected to piecing with the assistance of a piecing process in order to start up yarn production again. The respective piecing is carried out with the assistance of handling tools associated with the spinning machine. The individual spinning stations are classified on the basis of one or more production-related parameters, and that, if more piecing processes are to be carried out at the same time than can be carried out by the handling tools, at least the selection of the spinning station to be subjected to piecing next is carried out under consideration of the specified classification.

Method of Controlling a Compensator of the Difference between the Drawing-Off and Winding Speeds of Yarn when Winding Yarn on a Bobbin at a Workstation of a Spinning Machine and a Device for Performing the Method
A method of controlling a yarn compensating arm at a workstation of a spinning machine, wherein the yarn is initially withdrawn from an intermediate vacuum storage device. Before emptying the yarn from the storage device, the compensating arm is deflected past its working and into an out-of-the-working-range position, wherein the yarn is captured by the compensating arm and also deflected to the out-of-the-working-range position to form a non-working yarn reserve. The compensating arm is retained by a force at the out-of-the-working-range position while the yarn is emptied from the storage device. Upon being emptied from the intermediate vacuum storage device, the yarn exerts a tensile force on the compensating arm that overcomes the retaining force causing the compensating arm to return to its working range position.
Open-end spinning machine, and method and control device for operating an open-end spinning machine of this type
An open-end spinning machine having a plurality of workstations, each workstation has a spinning apparatus for producing a thread, a thread draw-off device for drawing off the thread from the spinning apparatus, a storage nozzle, a winding apparatus for producing a cross-wound bobbin, and a suction nozzle, to which negative pressure can be applied. The open-end spinning machine is equipped with at least one service unit, serving a plurality of the workstations and has an auxiliary-thread delivery device for delivering an auxiliary thread and an auxiliary-thread draw-off, which are used in a piecing process at a workstation to be served. The auxiliary-thread draw-off can be operated in such a way that the auxiliary-thread draw-off speed of the auxiliary-thread draw-off for drawing off the pieced auxiliary thread has a speed offset, which takes into account the thread draw-off speed of the thread draw-off device and at least one additional correction factor.

Method for Controlling an Attending Device of a Workstation of a Yarn Manufacturing Textile Machine, and a Textile Machine
A method is provided for controlling movement and operation of an attending device of a yarn manufacturing textile machine, wherein the attending device moves along a row of workstations arranged next to each other to perform operations at the workstations. The method controls the movement of the attending device along the work stations and operations of the attending device based on success statistics of the operations at the workstations to achieve an overall increased efficiency of the textile machine. An operational stay of the attending device at a particular one of the work stations is terminated without waiting for a result of the operation being performed by the attending device at the particular workstation.
