Fabric and Garments Made of Such Fabric
It is provided a fabric comprises a yarn that is bi-component yarn air texturized with a mechanical stretched synthetic polymer yarn and a high moisture regain yarn with greater fiber weight per filament than the bi-component yarn. The weft yarns are interwoven with the warp yarns such that the woven fabric defines a face side and a back side opposite to the face side. The high moisture regain yarn is inserted such that it generates plurality of long high moisture regain yarn floats such that a majority of the long high moisture regain yarn floats are on the back side of the woven fabric. The high moisture regain yarn can be inserted in weft or in warp direction or can alternate or at different intervals such that the longer floats are on the backside for more exposure to the skin.

A method includes drawing each of multiple partially oriented yarns from a corresponding supply package to form an oriented yarn, twisting and detwisting filaments within the oriented yarn to provide texture thereto, to provide a low stability interlacing during weaving, and to intermingle the filaments comprising the oriented yarn, and applying a uniform air pressure to the oriented yarn to provide a counter-twist. The method also includes forming a multi-pick yarn package based on winding all formed oriented yarns, which serve as weft yarns forming adjacent substantially parallel yarns wound together, onto a spool, simultaneously inserting the weft yarns in a single pick insertion event of a loom apparatus, conveying the weft yarns across a warp shed of the loom apparatus through a set of warp yarns, and interlacing the set of warp yarns and the conveyed weft yarns to produce an incremental length of a woven textile fabric.
Recycled separable multi-filament parallel yarns and woven fabric thereof
A high thread/yarn count woven textile fabric (800) is provided. The high thread/yarn count woven textile fabric (800) includes a plurality of warps (810), and a plurality of wefts (820). A method includes forming a multi-pick yarn package through winding multiple oriented yarns onto a spool, with the multiple oriented yarns serving as weft yarns forming adjacent substantially parallel yarns wound together. Each of the multiple oriented yarns is formed through drawing each of multiple yarns from a corresponding supply package. The method also includes, using the multi-pick yarn package, simultaneously inserting the weft yarns in a single pick insertion event of a pick insertion apparatus of a loom apparatus in which the simultaneously inserted weft yarns are to be conveyed through a set of warp yarns to produce an incremental length of a woven textile fabric.
FIBERS AND COMPOSITES USING TAILORED NATURAL FIBER PRECURSOR MATERIALS
A method for creating a fiber includes obtaining constituent natural fiber components by breaking down at least one of fresh natural fibers, fibers extracted after post-industrial use, fibers extracted after post-consumer use, and combinations thereof. The constituent natural fiber components comprise at least one material selected from a group consisting of cellulose, pectin, hemicellulose, lignin, and wax. The method includes separating the constituent natural fiber components into N natural fiber precursors, where N is an integer greater than one; creating a mixture of the N natural fiber precursors using a predetermined ratio of the N natural fiber precursors; and creating at least one of fiber and yarn using the mixture.
Texturing device
A device for texturing a thread-like plastic material in order to form a crimped textile yarn, comprising a texturing unit having at least two texturing channels for forming respective yarn plugs, wherein the texturing channels extend in the texturing unit along respective axes which converge in the direction of the discharge openings. The device preferably also comprises a discharge channel in order to guide the yarn plugs from the texturing channels to a moving conveying surface in a converging manner.
