A pneumatic tire includes a ply having a plurality of cords each having an average cord diameter D, and a sidewall rubber having a loss tangent tan δ The plurality of cords each includes a plurality of filaments twisted together, the plurality of filaments each having an outer diameter d. The plurality of cords each has a ratio D/d of the average cord diameter D to the outer diameter d being equal to or more than 28. The ratio D/d and the loss tangent tan δ of the sidewall rubber satisfy the following formula;
(tan δ)/(D/d)*1000≤5.5.
High-performance polyethylene multifilament yarn
Processes for making high-performance polyethylene multi-filament yarn are disclosed which include the steps of a) making a solution of ultra-high molar mass polyethylene in a solvent; b) spinning of the solution through a spinplate containing at least 5 spinholes into an air-gap to form fluid filaments, while applying a draw ratio DR.sub.fluid; c) cooling the fluid filaments to form solvent-containing gel filaments; d) removing at least partly the solvent from the filaments; and e) drawing the filaments in at least one step before, during and/or after said solvent removing, while applying a draw ratio DR.sub.solid of at least 4, wherein in step b) each spinhole comprises a contraction zone of specific dimension and a downstream zone of diameter Dn and length Dn with Ln/Dn of from 0 to at most 25, to result in a draw ratio DR.sub.fluid=DR.sub.sp*DR.sub.ag of at least 150, wherein DR.sub.sp is the draw ratio in the spinholes and DR.sub.ag is the draw ratio in the air-gap, with DR.sub.sp being greater than 1 and DR.sub.ag at least 1. High-performance polyethylene multifilament yarn, and semi-finished or end-use products containing said yarn, especially to ropes and ballistic-resistant composites, are also disclosed.
High-performance polyethylene multifilament yarn
Processes for making high-performance polyethylene multi-filament yarn are disclosed which include the steps of a) making a solution of ultra-high molar mass polyethylene in a solvent; b) spinning of the solution through a spinplate containing at least 5 spinholes into an air-gap to form fluid filaments, while applying a draw ratio DR.sub.fluid; c) cooling the fluid filaments to form solvent-containing gel filaments; d) removing at least partly the solvent from the filaments; and e) drawing the filaments in at least one step before, during and/or after said solvent removing, while applying a draw ratio DR.sub.solid of at least 4, wherein in step b) each spinhole comprises a contraction zone of specific dimension and a downstream zone of diameter Dn and length Dn with Ln/Dn of from 0 to at most 25, to result in a draw ratio DR.sub.fluid=DR.sub.sp*DR.sub.ag of at least 150, wherein DR.sub.sp is the draw ratio in the spinholes and DR.sub.ag is the draw ratio in the air-gap, with DR.sub.sp being greater than 1 and DR.sub.ag at least 1. High-performance polyethylene multifilament yarn, and semi-finished or end-use products containing said yarn, especially to ropes and ballistic-resistant composites, are also disclosed.
Label and related method
A label and related method of manufacture that includes a fabric made of yarn, in either cut individual singles or continuous ribbon format in any length. The yarn includes a fiber that has been recycled, that is recyclable, that is organic, that is biodegradable, and/or that can be derived from a material that is known to be environmentally friendly. The yarn, in one embodiment, may include a fiber defined as “high filament count” material, above the current industry standard of 24 filaments, being in the range of 72 to 96 to 144 filaments or higher per individual yarn, in any denier range of 30 denier to 150 denier thickness, in natural raw white, optical dyed white, or dyed colors. These yarns can be independent of each other.

A high-strength polyamide 610 multifilament has a sulfuric acid relative viscosity of 3.0 to 3.7 and a drying strength of more than 9.2 cN/dtex and within 11.0 cN/dtex, having a total fineness of 100 to 2,500 dtex and a single fiber fineness of 1.5 to 40 detex and a birefringence Δn of 50.0 x 10.sup.-3 or more.

A high-strength polyamide 610 multifilament has a sulfuric acid relative viscosity of 3.0 to 3.7 and a drying strength of more than 9.2 cN/dtex and within 11.0 cN/dtex, having a total fineness of 100 to 2,500 dtex and a single fiber fineness of 1.5 to 40 detex and a birefringence Δn of 50.0 x 10.sup.-3 or more.
Method for preparing continuous bamboo fibers
A method for preparing continuous bamboo fibers, which relates to a technical field of bamboo fiber preparation. The method includes processing bamboo raw materials into reticulated bamboo fiber strips, screening the bamboo fiber strips, dividing the reticulated bamboo fiber strips with different properties according to product requirements, performing high pressure splitting on the reticulated bamboo fiber strips which conforms to a screening condition, separating the bamboo fibers with different slenderness ratios from the bamboo fiber strips after the high pressure splitting is performed, forming a partial oriented bamboo fiber mat with uniform density by the bamboo fibers, forming an oriented bamboo fiber bundle with uniform linear density by the bamboo fiber mat, twisting the bamboo fiber bundle to form a bamboo fiber yarn, forming a rope by the bamboo fiber yarn, and forming a spindle based on a specifications.

Lyocell filament lining fabric
A lining fabric (3) for a clothing article (1). The lining fabric (3) is hygroscopic to ensure good wearing comfort, and has sufficient dimensional stability to allow washing in a household laundry machine. The lining fabric (3) is made from yarns (6) containing or consisting of Lyocell filaments (7). The Lyocell filaments (7) have an average linear density of less than 1.5 dtex, preferably less than 1.4 dtex and even more preferred, less than 1.3 dtex. The washing shrinkage after five washings is preferably less than 4% in each of two perpendicular directions.
