Patient transfer system
A patient transfer system is provided. The patient transfer system comprises a lifting mechanism, an actuator unit attached to the lifting mechanism, two conveyors attached to the actuator unit such that they extend from the actuator unit in a forklift fork-like manner, wherein the conveyors respectively have a conveyor belt and opposite reversing ends reversing the conveyor belt. The actuator unit is configured to move the conveyors such that the reversing ends facing each other are linearly movable towards and apart from each other.
Patient mobility garment for nurses
A patient mobility garment includes a flexible, laterally extending pelvic belt body having upper, lower, and opposite side borders, along with a plurality of spaced apart ribs placed in generally vertical directions substantially approaching or spanning the upper and lower borders; a plurality of loops vertically positioned with respect to one another about the ribs; a plurality of flexible, adjustable length girding straps horizontally oriented with respect to the pelvic belt body and configured to gird the pelvic belt body about a patient's pelvis area and bring the opposite side borders into conjunction or registry, each girding strap having a girding strap attaching member for fixation of the girding straps; a plurality of flexible, typically adjustable length shoulder straps; and a plurality of flexible, depending leg straps, each terminating in a fastener for engaging at least one of the vertically positioned loops. Busy nurses find it advantageous.
Strap for carrying human body
A strap for carrying a human body comprises a plurality of longitudinal fixing straps arranged in parallel and at intervals, a plurality of transverse fixing straps arranged in parallel and at intervals and a plurality of securing pieces. Each longitudinal fixing strap overlaps with each transverse fixing strap, each securing piece respectively connects a longitudinal fixing straps and a transverse fixing straps, two ends of each longitudinal fixing strap are adjustably connected to form a loop, and two ends of each transverse fixing strap adjustably connected to form a loop. The strap further comprises a bearing bed arranged between the longitudinal fixing straps, each transverse fixing strap is superposed on the bearing bed, one side of which is defined as a bearing surface, and the longitudinal fixing strap and the transverse fixing strap to form loops on the bearing surface.
Rotating bath lift
Disclosed is a bath lift with a rotating seat assembly to assist an individual with decreased mobility in and out of a bathtub. The rotating seat includes an assembly that can be raised or lowered using a DC powered linear actuator. The linear actuator will also move a backrest from an upright position to a reclined position. A controller includes logic to prevent operation should the batteries have insufficient power to raise the seat assembly. Slip resistant padding is comprised of medical-grade, closed cell, molded polyurethane padding that does not absorb water and reduces the risk of skin tears.
Multi-function person handling equipment
A person handling apparatus includes a deck with a seat section, a leg section, and a back section. The back section is pivotally mounted to the seat section. The leg section has a proximal end pivotally mounted to the seat section and a cantilevered end spaced a first distance from its proximal end. The seat section, the leg section, and the back section are arranged to lie in a common plane when the deck is in a supine configuration to support a person in a supine position. First and second leg assemblies are pivotally mounted to the deck to move between (1) first deployed positions wherein the first and second leg assemblies are angled relative to the deck when the deck is in the supine configuration to support the deck in a raised composition and (2) second deployed positions when the deck is supported in the chair configuration.
Patient transport apparatus with movable head section
A patient transport apparatus comprises support structure. The support structure comprises a base, a support frame, and a patient support deck. A headboard and a footboard are coupled to the support structure. The support frame comprises a head section and a body section, the body section coupled to the patient support deck. The patient support deck comprises a patient support surface capable of articulating relative to the support frame. The head section is movable relative to the body section to define first and second configurations of the support frame, the support frame having a first footprint in the first configuration and a second footprint, smaller than the first footprint, in the second configuration.
User Controls For Patient Support Apparatus Having Low Height
A patient support apparatus comprises a support structure. The support structure comprises a base and a patient support deck coupled to the base. The patient support deck comprises a patient support surface capable of articulating to adjust positioning of a patient supported thereon, a lift system configured to adjust a height of the patient support deck relative to the base, and a user interface system coupled to the support structure and comprising an elongated member and a user interface coupled to the elongated member. The user interface is configured to receive inputs from a user to control a function of the patient support apparatus.
Patient Support Apparatus With Deck Section Actuator
A patient support apparatus for supporting a patient comprising a support frame and a support deck coupled to the support frame. The support deck has a deck section arranged to articulate relative to said support frame between a first position and a second position. An actuator is interposed in force-translating relation between the support frame and the deck section to articulate the deck section. The actuator comprises a biasing device configured to store mechanical energy and having an interface. The actuator further comprises a torque multiplier coupled to the deck section and engaged with the interface to translate mechanical energy stored in the biasing device into force acting on the deck section to urge the deck section toward the first position.
STRAP FOR SLING AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH A STRAP AND USE OF SUCH STRAP
A strap is provided, intended for a sling for persons, where the strap is elongated with short end edges and longer lateral edges and comprises a first belt and a second belt. Each belt includes an inside and an outside, where the insides are turned towards one another, and the outsides are turned away from one another. The first belt and the second belt include warps and wefts. The strap has a longitudinal direction that is parallel to the warps, and a transverse direction that is parallel to the wefts. In the longitudinal direction of the strap there are a number of first sections, where the first belt and the second belt are interwoven, and second sections are provided between them, where the first belt and the second belt are not interwoven, so that an eye is formed in each of the second sections.
