Method for Producing an Annular Hair Band and the Annular Hair Band Product
20230112807 · 2023-04-13 ·

A method for producing an annular hair band includes providing an elongated, elastic woven strip having transversely extending yarns interleaved between longitudinally extending yarns. Two ends of the woven strip are overlapped. An abutting area of the two ends is greater than a cross sectional area of an end face of each end. Two non-planar dies are used to heat and compress overlapped sections of the two ends. The yarns of one of the two ends and mesh holes of another of the two ends are fused together. The two ends are flattened to form protrusions or grooves on an upper face and a lower face of a non-planar engaged portion of the two ends, thereby forming the annular hair band. The two non-planar dies are opened to remove the annular hair band for cooling. The annular hair band is capable of withstanding a stretching force greater than 2 kg.

METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR FABRICATING CURVED ELASTIC BANDS AND ARTICLES INCORPORATING CURVED ELASTIC BANDS

The present application is at least directed to a curved band having a plurality of warp yarns and a plurality of weft yarns. The curved band includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion of the curved band has a first weaving density. The second portion of the curved band has a second weaving density that is less than the first weaving density. The curved band is configured to curve toward the second portion in response to contraction of the warp yarns.

Conductive Signal Paths in Woven Fabrics

Weaving equipment may include strand positioning equipment that positions warp strands and that inserts weft strands among the warp strands to form fabric. The weaving equipment may include one or more guide arms that pushes warp strands in the weft direction during weaving. Fabrics having warp strands that extend in both the warp direction and the weft direction may be used in forming circuitry in fabrics such as touch sensor circuitry. For example, a touch sensor in a fabric may be formed using first conductive warp strands that form first touch sensor electrodes and second conductive warp strands that form second touch sensor electrodes that overlap with the first touch sensor electrodes. The second conductive warp strands may each have a first portion that extends in the warp direction and a second portion that extends in the weft direction across the first touch sensor electrodes.

FIBROUS TEXTURE FOR A CASING MADE OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL WITH HYBRID WARP STRANDS

A fibrous texture has the shape of a strip extending in a longitudinal direction over a determined length between a proximal portion and a distal portion and in a lateral direction over a determined width between a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge. The fibrous texture has a three-dimensional or multi-layer weaving between a plurality of layers of warp strands extending in the longitudinal direction and a plurality of layers of weft strands extending in the lateral direction, the fibrous texture including first and second longitudinal sections extending over a width from the first or second lateral edge smaller than the determined width of the fibrous texture along the lateral direction. The first and second longitudinal sections each include warp strands and weft strands constituted by carbon fibers. The fibrous texture further includes a third section present between the first and second sections.

Elastic trims and articles incorporating the same, and also methods of manufacturing and processing elastic trims and articles incorporating the same, are provided. An elastic trim may include a base textile that is knitted or woven, and may further include cables that are movably positioned in tunnel structures located within the base textile, the cables having a lower stretch characteristic than the base textile. The cables may be secured and removed at certain locations, thereby imparting a variable stretch characteristic to the elastic trim. The elastic trims may be incorporated into various articles, including waistbands, apparel, footwear, and bags.

Hybrid chain link

The present invention relates to a chain link comprising a strip comprising warp yarns and weft yarns, with the warp yarns containing warp yarn A and warp yarn B, with the minimum creep rate of warp yarn B being higher than the minimum creep rate of warp yarn A, wherein the strip comprises a longitudinal core section and at least two longitudinal edge sections, and wherein the concentration of warp yarn A in the core section is higher than the concentration of yarn A in the edge sections of the strip and the concentration of warp yarn B in the edge sections is higher than the concentration of warp yarn B in the core section of the strip. The invention also relates to a chain comprising said chain link and to use of said chain in different applications.

Seamless filling woven tape unit, yarn tank transportation equipment and filling process thereof

A seamless filling woven tape unit, a yarn tank transportation equipment and the filling process thereof. The woven tape unit utilizes a woven tape and a filler arranged in the woven tape, wherein the woven tape utilizes several woven tape units formed by integrated weaving, the woven tape unit utilizes a hollow woven tape and a solid woven tape formed by integrally weaving the two ends of the hollow tape, and a cavity of the hollow woven tape is uniformly filled with a flexible filler injected through fiber injection equipment. The flexible filler is injected into the woven tapes by fiber injection equipment so elasticity of the woven tape is guaranteed. Since the flexible filler is directly injected into the cavity of the hollow woven tape through a pin-shaped thin pipe arranged on the fiber injection equipment, the woven tapes do not need to be sewn.

A wrappable textile sleeve and method of construction thereof is provided. The textile sleeve includes an elongate wall extending along a longitudinal axis between opposite ends with lengthwise extending edges extending along the longitudinal axis between the opposite ends. The wall is woven from lengthwise extending warp yarns and circumferentially extending weft yarns with at least some of the weft yarns being heat-set to impart a self curling bias on the wall to bring the edges into overlapping relation with one another. Further, the weft yarns form a plurality of discrete annular bands that extend circumferentially about the longitudinal axis with adjacent bands having different picks-per-inch from one another to provide the sleeve with enhance regions of flexibility, self-curling bias and hoop strength.
