Patient Support Systems And Methods For Docking, Transporting, Sterilizing, And Storing Patient Support Decks
Patient support systems and methods for docking, transporting, sterilizing, and storing patient support decks. The patient support system comprises patient support decks that are configured to carry patients, such as in emergency situations or in a healthcare facility. The patient support decks are adapted to be engaged by docking stations and transport devices. Different configurations of docking stations and transport devices are contemplated. Sterilization apparatuses are provided to sterilize the patient support decks after use and storage facilities store the patient support decks for later use once they are sterilized.
LINKAGE MECHANISMS FOR MOUNTING ROBOTIC ARMS TO A SURGICAL TABLE
In some embodiments, an apparatus can include a surgical table and an adapter coupled thereto. The adapter includes an interface structure, a first link member coupled to a second link member, and a third link member coupled to a fourth link member. The first link member and the third link member are each pivotally coupled to the interface mechanism at a shared first pivot joint. The second link member and the fourth link member are each coupleable to a robotic arm. The first link member and the second link member collectively provide for movement of the first robotic arm in at least one of a lateral, longitudinal or vertical direction relative to the table top. The third link member and the fourth link member collectively provide for movement of the second robotic arm in at least one of a lateral, longitudinal or vertical direction relative to the table top.
SURGICAL FRAME HAVING TRANSLATING LOWER BEAM AND METHOD FOR USE THEREOF
A surgical frame and method for use thereof is provided. The surgical frame is capable of reconfiguration before, during, or after surgery. The surgical frame includes a translating beam that is moveable between at least a first lateral position and a second lateral position. The translating beam is used to join a first support portion and a second support portion of the surgical frame to one another, and movement of the translating beam affords access to a patient receiving area.
PATIENT POSITIONING DEVICE FOR AN X-RAY IMAGING APPARATUS
The invention relates to a patient positioning device (1, 6, 28, 35) for an x-ray imaging apparatus (23), comprising an x-ray-transparent patient positioning board (5) for positioning a patient (21) in a longitudinal direction (8), and at least one carrier device (3) at least partially supporting the patient positioning board (5). The patient positioning board (5) is subdivided into at least two partial boards (4), wherein each partial board (4) is mounted on a carrier device (3) assigned to the partial board (4). Each carrier device (3) has at least one pivot joint for pivoting the partial boards (4) about a transverse axis (20) which extents horizontally perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction (8).
Support platform for body treatment
A support platform for body treatment is provided and includes a supporting frame, a resilient pad, a guide passageway, a cushion and a control assembly. The resilient pad is secured to the supporting frame and includes an upper surface positioned opposite the supporting frame. The guide passageway extends from the upper surface and through the resilient pad toward the supporting frame. The cushion includes a lower surface side and is connected to control assembly so that it vertically positions the lower surface side along the guide passageway.
Device and method for a portable prone surgical positioning
A method and a portable prone surgical positioning device are provided which includes: a base frame assembly having a length varying assembly; a pair of chest supporting frames for a patient to lay in prone position thereupon; a width varying assembly connected to the pair of chest supporting frames; and a curvature varying assembly, connected to the base frame assembly and the width varying assembly, operable to change a curvature of the pair of chest supporting frames.
MASSAGE APPARATUS
A massage apparatus, in which a height of an auxiliary portion is adjustable, includes: a body portion configured to support an upper body of a user; and an auxiliary portion connected to the body portion to support a lower body of the user. The auxiliary portion includes a lifting member configured to adjust a height of the auxiliary portion.
Delayed cord clamping system
A delayed cord-clamping surface is provided that includes a newborn platform having a recessed surface configured to receive a chemical warming mattress, where the chemical warming mattress includes a conformable surface, where the newborn platform includes a detachable platform support that is configured to position the newborn platform proximal to a surgical region of a C-section patient, where the newborn platform is configured to support a newborn baby while an umbilical cord remains connected between the newborn and the C-section patient for draining from a placenta, where the newborn platform is configured to fitably mount with a warming table when the newborn platform is in a detached state from the detachable platform support.
Surgical Table System for Use with Closed-Ring Imaging Device
A surgical table system includes components to allow for reconfiguration to enable a closed-ring imaging system to be used with specialized tables. The surgical table system includes a patient support frame comprising first and second side rails and first and second cross rails spanning ends of the first and second side rails; a first end support and a second end support, each of the first and second end supports including an upper portion and a lower portion; and a cross-beam including a first end and a second end, the first end of the cross-beam connected to the lower portion of the first end support, the second end of the cross-beam connected to the lower portion of the second end support through a hinge mechanism. The second end support is removable from the cross-beam at the hinge mechanism.
FOLDABLE ELECTRIC BED
A foldable electric bed includes a first bed frame having top and bottom edges at first imaginary top and bottom surfaces respectively, and a second bed frame having top and bottom edges at second imaginary top and bottom surfaces respectively. A first fixation frame of the first bed frame has a bottom portion with two first longitudinal rods pivotally connected at outer lateral sides of two second longitudinal rods provided at a bottom portion of a second fixation frame of the second bed frame in a way that the first imaginary bottom surface is located between the second imaginary top and bottom surfaces and an overall height of the electric bed is less than a sum of the heights of the first and second bed frames when the electric bed is folded.
As such, the folded electric bed has a reduced volume, facilitating transportation and storage.
