The control means move the pleating means and/or clamping means such that the pleating means are arranged from a position inside the loop to a position adjacent the loop, while the clamping means clamp the pleat portion, such that a remaining portion of the curtain is folded round an outer end of the clamping means and a second fold is formed adjacently of and parallel to the first fold.
