KNEE OPERATED LIFTING MECHANISM FOR A PRESSER FOOT OF A SEWING MACHINE
A knee operated lifting mechanism for a presser foot of a sewing machine is fixed on a body of the sewing machine, the body is provided with a presser-foot shaft, the knee operated lifting mechanism is drivingly connected to the presser-foot shaft, so as to consequently drive the presser foot to move up and down. The knee operated lifting mechanism includes a knee pushing device, a cable and a rotary member. The knee pushing device includes a knee pushing plate to be operated by a user. The cable is drivingly connected to the knee pushing plate to control the rotation of a drive shaft and the rotation of the presser-foot shaft as well, which consequently controls the upward and downward motion of the presser foot, and thus considerably simplifying the structure of the knee operated lifting mechanism.
Device and method for manually changing a feed dog
A sewing machine having a device for manually changing a feed dog (10), including the feed dog (10) and a feed-dog holder (30). The feed-dog holder (30) is disposed in an arm bed (103) that is associated with the sewing machine, and the feed dog (10) is receivable in a clearance (31, 81) of the feed-dog holder (30). The feed dog (10) that is located in the clearance (31, 81) has a support face (15) which may be disposed parallel with the surface of a sewn-product support which may contain a needle-hole plate (113) or be configured as a needle-hole plate (113), the sewn-product support and/or the needle-hole plate (113) may at least partially be formed by the surface of the arm bed (103), and the support face (15) may be received in an opening (140) of the needle-hole plate (113). The feed dog (10) is fastenable in the clearance by a fastening element (40, 82, 83) or of a setting element (50) such that the support face (15) is alignable so as to be substantially parallel with the surface of the sewn-product support or of the needle-hole plate (113). The fastening element (40, 82, 83) or the setting element (50) is releasably held in the feed-dog holder (30).
Variable density tufting patterns
A method is provided for the design and manufacture of tufted patterned textiles having selected yarn densities that may vary for different pattern palette colors and in different areas of a pattern.
SEWING MACHINE
Provided is a sewing machine that enables a user to grasp the position of an interested point that is present inside and outside a stitchwork pattern without relying upon the user's imagination. This sewing machine includes an operation screen that displays, in a screen region, a frame image and a stitchwork image, and receives a user input of an interested point within a stitchwork frame displayed in the screen region. Moreover, the stitchwork frame is horizontally moved until a needle points out a point within the stitchwork frame and corresponding to the interested point input using the operation screen.
DECORATION PATTERN DATA GENERATING APPARATUS, SEWING MACHINE, AND NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM
A decoration pattern data generating apparatus includes: a controller, the controller being configured to control the decoration pattern data generating apparatus to select an embroidery pattern to be sewn, specify an outline of the embroidery pattern, based on embroidery pattern data for sewing the selected embroidery pattern; set an area outside the specified outline, as a decoration area; and generate decoration pattern data for sewing a decoration pattern in the set decoration area.
NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM AND SEWING DATA GENERATION DEVICE
A non-transitory computer-readable medium stores computer-readable instructions. The instructions, when executed, cause a processor of a sewing data generation device configured to generate sewing data to perform processes. The processes include acquiring pattern data to sew an embroidery pattern. The processes further include setting an outline having an offset portion and a complementary portion on the basis of the pattern data. The outline is a single line surrounding the outside of a contour of the embroidery pattern. The offset portion is a part of the single line and is offset from the contour toward the outside of the embroidery pattern by a predetermined amount. The complementary portion is another part of the single line and being offset from the contour toward the outside of the embroidery pattern by an amount larger than the predetermined amount. The processes also include generating sewing data to sew the outline.
Embroidery color transition
Computerized methods of creating embroidery including capturing embroidery instructions, receiving instructions at an embroidery engine, creating planned patterns of stitches, and outputting instructions for stitching, including instructions for printing colors onto a thread before stitching. Color may be printed in a gradient or gradually faded, for example, from a start color to an end color, or from a start color to an intermediate color and from the intermediate color to an end color. Color may be gradually faded from a start location to an end location or from a start location to an intermediate location and from the intermediate location to an end location. Varying shades of colors may be printed, patterns may be repeated, outlines, segments, and vectors may be used, and intermediate stitch color may be determined based on number of stitches or vector length. Some embodiments allow a user to change embroidery instructions while reapplying unchanged instructions.
