Washing machine and steam washing method thereof
A washing machine and a steam washing method. In order to enable the washing machine to meet a user's demand for refined washing and to achieve the object of reducing washing machine costs and energy consumption, the steam washing method includes: receiving an initial washing program of the washing machine; determining whether a steam washing instruction is received; and if not, performing a corresponding initial washing operation according to the initial washing program, and if so, configuring at least one steam washing program based on the initial washing program, where the washing machine can perform the corresponding steam washing operation according to the steam washing program. The method heats a minimum amount of water each time to generate steam, and determines whether a second heating is performed to generate steam based on the washing effect, so massive heating is avoided if much steam is unnecessary, thus maximizing energy savings.
Artificial intelligence washing machine and operation method thereof
The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence washing machine and an operation method thereof. A method of operating a washing machine may comprise estimating, based on a previous setting of a previous washing operation, an estimated setting for a current washing operation, wherein the estimated setting includes a water supply time, a drainage time, and a spin-drying time, obtaining a user input, obtaining an amount of laundry from a weight sensor of the washing machine, determining, based on the estimated setting, the user input, and the amount of laundry, a washing time for the current washing operation and displaying the determined washing time to the user. Accordingly, the estimated washing time is provided with the reflection of data of the washing machine which has been accumulated by the increase of the number of uses, thereby reducing a difference between an actual operating time and the estimated washing time and minimizing the user inconvenience.

Water temperature evaluation method using a humidity sensor in a laundry appliance
A laundry appliance includes a basket rotatably mounted within a cabinet and defining a chamber configured for receiving a load of clothes, a water supply valve for regulating a flow of water into the chamber, and a humidity sensor positioned within the cabinet for monitoring a chamber humidity. A controller is configured to determine that the water supply valve is open to permit the flow of water into the chamber, identify an anticipated humidity within the chamber based at least in part on the water supply valve being open, obtain the chamber humidity using the humidity sensor, and implementing a responsive action if the chamber humidity does not correspond to the anticipated humidity.
Control method of a washing machine, and washing machine
A washing machine has a remote control function, and the control method comprises: after a washing procedure is finished, judging whether a remote control function is in an open state. If the judgment is yes, controlling a lock to keep a locked state, and executing a standby process for a time duration of t1, and if the judgment is no, controlling the lock to open, and executing a standby process for a time duration of t2, wherein t1≥t2; preferably, t1>t2. After a washing procedure is finished, the waiting time of a washing machine when the remote control function is in an open state is longer than the waiting time of a washing machine when the remote control function is in a closed state, thereby effectively preventing a remote controller from missing further control of a washing machine in a standby process.
