Washing machine
A washing machine includes a dewatering shaft for rotating a washing tub, a drive shaft for rotating a pulsator in the washing tub, a coupler configured to move up and down along the dewatering shaft, a solenoid configured to move the coupler, a coupler guide configured to be rotated by contact with the coupler moving upward and to fix a position the coupler or guide the coupler to move to another position by contact with the coupler, a fixed core that surrounds the solenoid, and a moving core disposed at a perimeter of the coupler and configured to move the coupler by magnetic flux. The moving core is configured to, based on moving upward to the fixed core, maintain a gap defined between the moving core and the fixed core within a set range.
SUSPENDER DISENGAGEMENT DETECTION APPARATUS FOR WASHING MACHINE AND SAFE OPERATION METHOD FOR WASHING MACHINE
A suspender disengagement detection apparatus for a washing machine, comprising pressure sensors and a controller. The pressure sensors are electrically connected to the controller. The controller is electrically connected to a drive motor of the washing machine. In a working process of the washing machine, the pressure sensors are mounted on the joint of at least one suspender and the housing of the washing machine, and/or the joint of the suspender and the suspender base of the outer tub of the washing machine to detect a pressure, and a detection result is fed back to the controller; and the controller determines, whether a suspender is disengaged according to feedback information, and further controls the change in a working state of the drive motor of the washing machine.
PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD (PCB), PCB ASSEMBLY, AND WASHING MACHINE INCLUDING THE SAME
A printed circuit board (PCB) having an improved waterproof structure for preventing corrosion of a substrate is disclosed. A plurality of screen-printed protrusions is provided at the PCB surface. the plurality of protrusions allow water to be formed in waterdrops so that the waterdrops can flow to the outside of the PCB. The PCB is arranged to have a tilted structure for facilitating discharge of the water. The tilted structure discharges waterdrops to a lower side of the PCB. The PCB and a PCB assembly having the same are applicable to electronic appliances such as a washing machine.

WASHING MACHINE AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a washing machine includes a rotating tub configured to accommodate laundry, a water supply pipe configured to spray water over a surface of the laundry. The washing machine also includes a controller configured to execute a water supply cycle in which an operation of each of the rotating tub and the water supply pipe is controlled and water is supplied to the rotating tub. The washing machine further includes a wash cycle in which the laundry is washed and the controller executes a first cycle in which the rotating tub is rotated faster than a rotational speed in the wash cycle so as to discharge air contained inside the laundry before the wash cycle is terminated.
Laundry processing apparatus
A laundry processing apparatus includes: an outer tub for accommodating washing water therein; an inner tub disposed inside the outer tub and containing laundry therein; a pulsator provided in a lower portion of the inner tub; a blade provided below the pulsator; a driving motor disposed outside the outer tub for rotating a washing shaft; a pulsator connecting shaft penetrating a lower side surface of the outer tub for rotating the pulsator; a blade connecting shaft which also penetrates a lower side surface of the outer tub for rotating the blade; and a gear module disposed outside the outer tub for transmitting a rotational force of the washing shaft to the pulsator connecting shaft and the blade connecting shaft respectively.
Drum washing machine
Disclosed herein is a drum washing machine having an improved motor mount structure. The drum washing machine includes a tub having a coupling part; a drum rotatably installed in the tub; a motor bracket installed at the coupling part; and an elastic member having a cylindrical shape and disposed between the motor bracket and the tub, wherein the elastic member comprises a rib protruding in a radial direction from the inner circumferential surface of the elastic member, and the rib has the longest protrusion at a longitudinal center of the elastic member.

LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE AND METHOD OF CONTROL
An apparatus and method for reducing displacement of a washing machine having a drum rotatable about an axis of rotation is disclosed. The washing machine comprises a chassis and a motor for rotation a drum. The drum is suspended from the chassis by a suspension. The suspension can comprise springs having six natural frequencies that can resonate at a rotational speed of the drum driven by the motor. The suspension system can be tuned such that resonant frequencies can be varied based upon rotational speed of the drum.
Methods for monitoring load balance in washing machine appliances
Methods for monitoring load balance in washing machine appliances, and washing machine appliances, are provided. A method includes accelerating rotation of a basket about a central axis within a tub of the washing machine appliance from a first speed to a second speed greater than the first speed. The method further includes detecting a plurality of speed changes during the accelerating step, and summing absolute values of speed differences for each of the plurality of detected speed changes to obtain an unfolded speed value.
