A laundry compartment is provided inside the drum and the drum is rotatable about a substantially vertical axis. The wash unit tub is hung from and supported by a plurality of suspension rods. A plurality of upper suspension mount assemblies pivotally couple the suspension rods to an upper frame of the laundry appliance and a plurality of lower suspension mount assemblies couple the suspension rods to the wash unit tub. Each of the upper and lower suspension mount assemblies includes a resilient bushing that permits relative movement between the suspension rods, the upper frame, and the wash unit tub while reducing / dampening the vibrations the suspension rods transmit from the wash unit tub to the upper frame.

The laundry treatment apparatus includes: a tub; a drum configured to rotate within the tub and to contain laundry therein, the drum being formed of a metallic material; and an induction module provided at an outer surface of the tub and configured to heat a surface of the drum within the tub via induction, the induction module comprising: a coil that comprises a wire through which an electric current is configured to pass so as to generate a magnetic field; a base housing configured to accommodate the coil therein, the base housing being mounted on the outer surface of the tub; an at least one magnet configured to be arranged above the base housing in which the coil is accommodated, and arranged to be lengthwise perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the wire of the coil.

A drum is disposed within the tub. A bellows assembly extends between the cabinet and the tub. The bellows assembly includes a projection coupled to the curved edge of the cabinet. A deflector has a rim and a chute wherein the chute extends toward the drum. The rim is configured to snap-fit over the projection of the bellows assembly. The rim includes a plurality of hooks where each hook is configured to extend through an aperture and interlock with the cabinet.

The sealing member can prevent washing water or internal air from escaping from the door assembly.
