Washing machine and control method of washing machine
A washing machine includes: a tub; a drum of metal material configured to be rotated in the tub; an induction heater configured to be fixed to the tub in a state of being separated from the drum, and to heat the drum; a first temperature sensor configured to have a tube of metal material heated by the induction heater and a thermistor disposed in the tube, at least a part of the tube being exposed between the tub and the drum; a second temperature sensor configured to be disposed in a position further away than the first temperature sensor from the induction heater in a circumferential direction, and detect a temperature of air between the tub and the drum; and a controller configured to control the induction heater based on a first detection value of the first temperature sensor and a second detection value of the second temperature sensor.
WASHING MACHINE PROVIDED WITH THERMAL INSULATION MECHANISM
A washing machine including a thermal insulation mechanism for protecting an additive tray from being damaged by heat radiated from a drying duct assembly. The additive tray may be sized to contain sufficient additive for multiple laundry loads. The additive tray may be installed on the top of the washing machine. The drying duct assembly is disposed above the tub and can heat air for supplying to the tub and drying laundry. A heatproof plate is disposed between the additive tray and the drying duct assembly to inhibit heat transfer from the drying duct assembly to the additive tray. A gap is formed between the heatproof plate and the drying duct assembly.

WASHING MACHINE
A washing machine using an air discharge part disposed next to a detergent container to reduce humidity of the air flow exiting from the tub during a drying process. Both the air discharge part and the detergent container are contained in an accommodation part. The air discharge part can be maintained at a low temperature by washing water passing through the detergent container. The air discharge part includes rows of ribs on which water vapor in the air flow can condense due to the low temperature. The air discharge part is disposed on an opposite side of the washing machine to the electrical supplying component, thereby preventing water condensation on the electrical supplying component when the air flow is exhausted from the air discharge part.
LIQUID ADDITIVE SUPPLY DEVICE FOR WASHING MACHINE
A liquid additive supplying device in a washing machine. The liquid additive supplying device is removably accommodated in an accommodation part of the detergent dispenser system of the washing machine. A magnetic body and a magnetic sensor in the liquid additive supplying device interplay to detect the presence of the liquid additive supplying device within the accommodation part. The liquid additive supplying device includes another pair of magnetic body and magnetic sensor for detecting the amount of liquid additive contained therein.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS
A laundry treating apparatus comprises: a cabinet having a top face for supporting an object thereon and a front face having a front opening communicating an interior of the cabinet with an outside; a drawer extendable from the cabinet through the front opening; a tub disposed inside the drawer and having a water storage space; a drum rotatably disposed in the tub to receive laundry; a laundry inlet in a top face of the tub to receive laundry; a lever having a fixed end pivotably coupled to the cabinet and a free end positioned between a top face of the cabinet and a top face of the drawer; a magnetic field generator fixed to one of the free end of the lever and the drawer; and a magnetic field sensor disposed on the other of the free end of the lever and the drawer.

Washing machine
A washing machine including a cabinet with an opening, a door that opens and closes to uncover and cover the opening, respectively, and a door locking device that selectively restrains a motion of the door when the door is closed. This configuration may be used to prevent the door from opening when, for example, the washing machine is in operation. In addition, a structure of a front portion of the opening may facilitate loading and unloading of laundry.

Door-lock for home appliances
A door-lock for a home appliance is provided. The door-lock has a cam that cooperates with a hook and can rotate between two end positions and an intermediate hook holding position. A locking slider cooperates with the cam to lock it and an actuator-controlled locking pin can lock the locking slider. A switch is switchable between open and closed positions, respectively corresponding to the unlocking and locking positions of the locking pin. A cam support carries a trigger element and/or base plate and has a stop that locks the locking slider. A portion of the cam disengages the trigger element from the locking slider when the cam is in an end position opposite a hook release position. The locking slider can rotate beyond the cam locking position to push the locking pin toward the unlocking position with a protrusion when the trigger element is disengaged from the locking slider.
