A garment handling device is disclosed, comprising at least one elongate garment receiving recess extending between two neighboring elongate members made of rigid material and articulated to one another at one end. The garment handling device is configured with a garment opening at the respective opposite end of the neighboring elongated members.

A laundry appliance including a cabinet that defines an opening to access an interior. A drum is positioned within the interior of the cabinet. A removable basket is selectively coupled to the drum and includes a first arcuate body that is coupled with a second arcuate body. The second arcuate body is rotatable between a nested position and an expanded position.

An anti-tangling laundry device includes a body with two halves, each half having securing slots that hold the edges of a laundry item to prevent tangling of the laundry item during the washing process. The securing slots are closed off by a stopper plug that is sized and shaped to fit within the center of the body, so that any laundry item placed into the receiver remains in place throughout the laundry process.

The present invention provides a laundry container that is uniquely operable as a standing hamper or tote when loading or holding dirty laundry and is sized and oriented to be closed and installed into a machine-washer and -dryer with the dirty laundry still within for cleaning without any user contact or interaction with the laundry articles themselves, the laundry container including features that allow it to be extended and stand upright for use as a loadable hamper or tote and to be collapsed, with or without laundry still inside, for purposes of transport or storage.

Systems and methods for attaching large articles of bedding such as bed sheets, blankets, duvet covers, comforters, and quilts, as well as other machine-washable large items such as sleeping bags, tablecloths, shower curtains, and shower curtain liners, in order to prevent or greatly reduce said articles from twisting, tangling, balling and/or wadding either independently or with each other in either or both the automatic washing machine or automatic clothes dryer. Exemplary fabric securing devices include a rigid base having keyholes and slit-holes, and flexible straps or tongues having a hollow post to engage a base keyhole and a crescent-shaped beveled edge to engage a base slit-hole.

Disclosed is a clip for managing laundry items, the clip having front and rear arms flexibly joined by an elbow and shaped to form an internal loop. The front arm terminates in a dogleg shaped to minimize catching on fabric, and the rear arm terminates in a tongue shaped to ease the clip onto fabric. The dogleg and tongue angle away from an opening to accommodate fabric and guide it into a gap between the arms. The elbow flexibly holds the arms apart to form the gap, which can expand to accept the fabric and hold it in place. The arms also include teeth to improve friction between the fabric and the clip. Also disclosed is method of using a system of laundry clips to improve laundry results, including folding a laundry item lengthwise and attaching a plurality of laundry clips on the item to hold loose sides in place.

A laundry aid device including a spherical-body and a plurality of spokes. The laundry aid device is preferably constructed from heat resistant rubber materials for flexibility and constructed from anti-bacterial and anti-fungal materials. The spokes extend radially from the spherical-body, each of the spokes including a head affixed to an end of the spoke furthest from the spherical-body, and a neck disposed between the spherical-body and the head of the spoke. The spokes each also include circumferential ribs located between the neck and the head of the spoke. The circumferential ribs are constructed of a flexible material such that the head of the spoke is able to flex in relation to the remainder of the spoke. The device is placeable into a laundry machine to prevent tangling of clothing and linens and increase the efficiency of the laundering of the laundry machine.

The present invention provides a protective cover for a baby carrier ring and a set thereof. The protective cover is a pocket formed from a pair of washable shields having at least one fastener. The fabric pockets are conformable around baby carrier rings. Each pocket is removably attachable to a baby carrier ring with the fastener. The washable material of the pocket protects the ring from damage while, for example, washing, drying, storing, and shipping the baby carrier.

A hook-and-eyelet retainer protects a brassiere hook-and-eyelet clasp from becoming detached in the laundry to prevent damage to the brassiere, other undergarments in the laundry and/or the laundry machine. A hook-and-eyelet retainer has a first and a second retainer portion that are coupled together by a hinge. The first and second retainer portions pivot about the hinge to receive a hook-and-eyelet clasp and wing band. The hook-and-eyelet retainer is then closed and a post on a first retainer portion extends through a closure aperture on a second retainer portion to secure the hook-and-eyelet retainer in a closed position. A plurality of teeth extends up from one or both of the retainer portions to grip onto the hook-and-eyelet clasp and/or the wing band. One or both of the planar retainer portions may be recessed to accommodate the thickness of the brassiere hook-and-eyelet clasp or clasp strap or hook-and-eyelet and wing band.
