Clothes treating apparatus and method for operating the clothes treating apparatus
A clothes treating apparatus which controls a temperature of clothes and an operating time by executing an artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm and/or a machine learning algorithm in a 5G environment connected for Internet of Things and an operating method of the clothes treating apparatus are provided. The clothes treating apparatus includes a communicator, a controller, a memory, a storage space, a temperature sensor, a temperature adjuster, and a fan. The communicator collects weather information and operation information of at least one connected device. Further, the communicator collects activity information or biometric information of the user from a portable terminal, a wearable device, or a vehicle. A user's preferred clothing temperature is derived by using clustering, deep learning, and reinforcement learning of the collected information, and the temperature of the clothes is adjusted based on the derived target temperature.
Laundry machine having induction heater and control method of the same
A laundry machine includes a tub, a drum that is rotatably mounted in the tub, and an induction heater that is provided in the tub and configured to heat an outer circumferential surface of the drum. The laundry machine also includes a motor that is configured to rotate the drum, a temperature sensor that is configured to sense the temperature inside the tub, an instantaneous power output unit configured to calculate and output an instantaneous output, and a processor that controls drum rotation speed and heat-spinning by controlling the induction heater. The processor may control the output of the induction hater to be variable based on the output of the instantaneous power output unit.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A HOUSEHOLD WASHING MACHINE
A method and appliance for controlling a household washing machine for washing laundry includes receiving, in a user interface, a user-selected steam sanitize cycle, displaying, on the user interface, a first indicator, and executing, by the controller, the sanitize cycle, and displaying a sanitized indicator, for example, on the user interface.
WASHING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SAME
Disclosed are a washing machine and a method for controlling same. A washing machine according to the present invention comprises: a drum for accommodating laundry; an additive input unit which inputs an additive into the drum so as to coat the laundry with fragrant particles; a temperature adjustment unit which generates a hot wind and a cold wind to adjust the temperature inside the drum; and a control unit that controls the temperature adjustment unit so that the temperature inside the drum is set to a first threshold temperature, controls the additive input unit so that the additive is input into the drum when the temperature is set to the first threshold temperature, and controls the temperature adjustment unit so that the temperature inside the drum is set to a second threshold temperature lower than the first threshold temperature when the additive is input into the drum. Accordingly, the washing machine can provide the same effect as a piece of laundry being washed in a normal washing cycle when laundry is washed through a refresh cycle.
APPARATUS FOR TREATING LAUNDRY AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed are an apparatus for treating laundry with an induction heater and controlling method thereof. In a laundry treating apparatus including an induction heater, the present invention includes a first step of setting a normal dry mode and an abnormal dry mode for controlling the induction heater with a output relatively lower than that of the normal dry mode, a second step of operating the induction heater in the normal dry mode, a third step of determining whether a dry load is a normal load or an abnormal load using at least one of a temperature of a drum and a current of a motor, and a fourth step of if the dry load is determined as the abnormal load, controlling the induction heater in the abnormal dry mode.
LAUNDRY MACHINE HAVING INDUCTION HEATER AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed herein is a laundry machine. More particularly, a laundry machine for generating steam by an induction heater and a control method thereof are disclosed. The laundry machine may include a tub, a drum rotatably arranged in the tub to accommodate an object and provided with a through hole on an outer circumferential surface thereof, a steam induction heater provided at a front upper portion of a front wall or a rear upper portion of a rear wall of the tub to heat a heating surface of the drum facing the steam induction heater, a motor driven to rotate the drum, a spray nozzle configured to spray water onto the heating surface facing the steam induction heater to generate steam, and a processor configured to rotate the drum to introduce the steam into the drum through the through hole in a space between the tub and the drum.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS HAVING INDUCTION HEATER AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed are an object treating apparatus, and more particularly, an object treating apparatus for heating a drum using an induction heater and a control method thereof. The object treating apparatus includes a tub; a drum rotatably disposed within the tub and accommodating an object therein; an induction heater disposed on the tub and configured to heat an outer circumferential face of the drum contacting the heater; a motor to rotate the drum; and a processor configured to control an operation of the induction heater to dry the object, wherein the processor is configured to control revolution per minute (RPM) of the drum to perform, during drying,: a conductive accelerating motion having a target RPM in which the object rotates integrally with the drum while the object is in close contact with an inner circumferential face of the drum; and a rearrangement motion having a target RPM lower than the target RPM of the conductive accelerating motion.
