Interfacing wheelchairs with wheeled apparatuses

Devices described in this disclosure can interconnect a wheelchair with another wheeled apparatus. For example, this document describes interfacing devices that releasably receive the front wheels of a wheelchair and the rear wheels of another wheeled apparatus in such a way that a user of the wheelchair can conveniently maneuver the wheeled apparatus in conjunction with the operation of the wheelchair.

Means for transporting persons with reduced mobility comprising a device with for connecting to aserum holder, associated connecting assembly

A system for transporting persons with reduced mobility includes a chassis having two lateral cross members, a device for connecting to an IV pole including a rod and a wheeled support attached to an end of the rod, the connection device including an attachment support fixed to the chassis, a coupling element designed to be solidly fixed to the rod, a member for connecting the coupling element to the attachment support, a lateral stop attached to at least one of the cross members, the lateral stop being built and arranged to brace the wheeled support in relation to the chassis and to position the IV pole laterally in relation to the transportation system.

Patient mobility system with integrated ambulation device
10463556 · 2019-11-05 · ·

A patient mobility system for early patient ambulation. The system includes a patient support apparatus comprising a patient support surface supported by a base adapted to rest upon a floor surface. An ambulation device is removably coupled to the patient support apparatus and comprises a barrier. In a coupled configuration, the ambulation device is supported off of the floor surface and the barrier prevents egress by being adjacent to a side of said patient support surface and having a height sufficient to at least partially extend above the patient support surface. In a decoupled configuration, the ambulation device engages the floor surface and provides support to the patient during ambulation away from the patient support apparatus. The barrier may comprise articulating members configured to articulate between a barrier configuration in the coupled configuration, and a deployed configuration with wheels engaging the floor surface in the decoupled configuration.

Handle system for medical devices

The present invention includes a system of cooperating handles for simultaneously maneuvering a wheelchair and a medical cart. The system comprises a first handle attachable to a wheelchair and a second handle attachable to the medical cart. The first handle has a lower portion and an upper portion, the lower portion adapted to receive a handlebar of the wheelchair. The upper portion of the first handle is vertically oriented. The second handle has a lower portion and an upper portion, with the lower portion being attachable to the medical cart. The upper portion of the second handle is also vertically oriented. The wheelchair and the medical cart are positionable to place the upper portions of the first and second handles proximate to one another so that a user can grasp each upper portion by a single hand to simultaneously maneuver the wheelchair and the medical cart together.

DEVICES AND METHODS FOR A NEONATE INCUBATOR, CAPSULE AND CART

Systems and method for positioning a neonate within an imaging device are provided. A capsule incubator, a cart, and a docking incubator are used to move a baby between an imaging device and a incubator, such that a baby can be imagined without having to move the baby from its environment.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR NETWORKED TRANSPORTATION OF PATIENTS OR PEOPLE WITH IMPAIRED MOBILITY
20190307623 · 2019-10-10 · ·

An apparatus a and method for networked transportation of patients or people with impaired mobility in a hospital bed, or nursing bed, having the following method features: a) a patient in question or an applicable caregiver is reported by a control centre as in need of transportation from one ward A to another ward B, b) the nursing staff on ward A beds down or puts the person in question into a special transportation bed or a special transportation chair and reports to the control centre when this person is correctly supported, this being able to be checked by means of a pressure sensor (23) in the lying area or sitting area, the identity being ensured by the nursing staff or being able to be checked by means of a patient identity card, c) the patient is automatically moved to ward B, d) the patient is brought to his treatment in ward B and then transported back to ward A by the same route.

SURGICAL PLATFORM AND TROLLEY ASSEMBLY

A surgical platform and trolley assembly and an interface of a robotic system are provided. The surgical platform and trolley assembly includes a trolley portion and a surgical platform portion. The trolley portion supports the surgical platform portion, and affords positioning and repositioning of the surgical platform portion relative to the interface of the robotic system. An end portion of the surgical platform portion is attachable relative to the robotic system via engagement to the interface.

Sled-table for radiographic imaging and medical device integration

X-ray procedure tables with improved structural strength that enable radiation shielding and integrated medical device and monitoring systems. The design allows the incorporation of an integrated patient support structure, radiation shielding and associated devices and conduits for medical care in procedures that employ X-ray imaging. The X-ray procedure table may be formed from a sled table attachable to a pedestal, with at least one side member extending along a bottom of the sled table to add structural rigidity.

Hospital bed computer system

A point-of-care computer system is provided, including a display positioned in a point-of-care location. The point-of-care computer includes hardware coupled to a frame of a hospital bed.

Magnetic resonance imaging apparatus and method for controlling magnetic resonance imaging apparatus

A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus of an embodiment includes: a bed top plate provided with a connector which can be coupled with a receiving coil; a bed which supports the bed top plate, the bed being configured to shift the bed top plate vertically and horizontally, the bed being configured to be jointly coupled with a stretcher apparatus having a stretcher top plate, and the stretcher top plate being placed on top of the bed top plate in a case where the stretcher apparatus is jointly coupled and; a bed controller configured to control a shift of the bed top plate correspondingly to at least one of a joint coupling condition between the bed and the stretcher apparatus and a coupling condition between the receiving coil and the connector.
