One-piece woven, side impact airbag having two layer coating
An airbag textile containing a woven textile having an inner side and an outer side, a primer layer on the outer side of the textile and a gas barrier layer on the primer layer. The primer layer contains a first thermoplastic polymer and has a surface roughness and a plurality of holes extending at least partially through the thickness of the primer layer. The gas barrier layer contains a second thermoplastic polymer and at least partially fills in the surface roughness and holes of the primer layer.
FIBERS-BASED FLEXIBLE MATERIAL AND PROCESS OF MANUFACTURING SUCH A MATERIAL
Disclosed is a flexible material including a web of fibers chosen in the group consisting of carbon fibers, glass fibers and aramid fibers, this web of fibers being impregnated on a so-called external face with an impregnation layer produced from a polymer binder and containing at least one plasticizing agent or a mixture of plasticizing agents. A fibrous textile substrate is superimposed on the web of fibers on an internal face of the web opposite the external face.
SYNTHETIC LEATHER
Provided is a synthetic leather including: a base fabric that has a limiting oxygen index of 25 or more, and that is a knitted body of a yarn including a flame-retardant fiber having a limiting oxygen index of 25 or more, a cellulose-based fiber, and a carbon fiber; an adhesion layer containing a flame retardant, the adhesion layer being provided at at least one side of the base fabric; and a skin layer provided at a side of the adhesion layer opposite from a side at which the base fabric is provided.
COATED SUBSTRATE AND METHOD FOR FORMING COATED SUBSTRATE
A coated substrate is disclosed, including a solvent-sensitive substrate and a polyester coating disposed on the solvent-sensitive substrate, wherein the polyester coating includes a polyester copolymer of a polyol and a polyacid. A method for forming a coated substrate is disclosed including spraying solvated polyester material from a spray nozzle onto a solvent-sensitive substrate and drying the solvated polyester material to form a polyester disposed on the solvent-sensitive substrate, wherein the solvated polyester material and the polyester coating include a polyester copolymer of a polyol and a polyacid.
Creating A True Thermally Conductive Apparel Using Intricate Thermally Functional Coating And Thermally Conductive Yarns
Provided are garments that comprise thermally-conductive materials, the materials comprising a heat-collecting coating disposed on a fibrous base material having a thermally-conductive additive dispersed within. Also provided are methods of fabricating thermally-conductive garments.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PLASMA TREATMENT
A method for treating a natural or synthetic leather object is provided. The method includes directing plasma onto a surface of an natural or synthetic object to form a plasma treated object, the object including at least one of a natural leather material and a synthetic leather material, applying adhesive onto the plasma treated object, and bonding the plasma treated object with a polymeric coating.
Coated fabric products
This relates to the coating of air bags, which are used for safety purposes to protect occupants of vehicles such as automobiles, and of air bag fabrics intended to be made into air bags. In particular the invention relates to the top coating of air bags and air bag fabrics which have been pre-coated with a cured organic resin coating composition. The top-coat is an anti-blocking coating composition comprising at least one solid lubricant dispersed in an organic polymer binder. A process for applying the top-coat is also described.
Base interlining, methods for their manufacture and application thereof
The invention relates to a novel binder system and its use for bonding textile fabrics as well as products containing such bonded textile fabrics. The materials according to the invention are suitable for manufacturing base interlinings which may be used for manufacturing base interlinings for sarking, roofing and sealing membranes, particularly for manufacturing coated sarking, roofing and sealing membranes.
Thin coated supported glove
A thin coated supported glove, having a thin knitted liner, wherein the thin knitted liner has a plurality of finger components, a thumb component, a backhand component, and a palm component. The thin knitted liner comprises a covered yarn having a first yarn and a second yarn, wherein the first yarn is a core yarn that is 20 denier or less, wherein the second yarn is at least one of an intermingled yarn or a first wrapping yarn surrounding the core yarn, wherein the second yarn is 30 denier or less; and a thin polymeric coating adhered to the thin knitted liner.
FLUID SEPARATION MEMBRANE, FLUID SEPARATION MEMBRANE MODULE, AND POROUS CARBON FIBER
A fluid separation membrane has high compression strength in the fiber cross-section direction (direction orthogonal to the fiber axis). The fluid separation membrane is obtained by an organic polymer layer being formed on the surface of porous carbon fibers having a co-continuous porous structure. A fluid separation membrane module and porous carbon fibers having a fully co-continuous porous structure are also disclosed.
