A portable dry recreational slide is configured to be easily carried by a single person when in a compacted state and expanded into a deployed state in a remote location as desired. The dry recreational slide, when deployed, is elongated and includes a low-friction sliding surface upon which a rider may slide without application of water, oil, soap or any other temporary lubricant. The dry slide comprises a slide body having a lightweight, flexible substrate coated with a low-friction material.

RADIATIVE COOLING FABRICS AND PRODUCTS
20230158786 · 2023-05-25 ·

A radiative cooling fabric comprises a flexible substrate layer and a functional layer stacked in order. The first functional layer comprises a first functional resin and a first functional filler dispersed in the first functional resin. A mass fraction of the first functional filler in the first functional layer is in a range of 1% to 20%. An emissivity of the radiative cooling fabrics in the wavelength of 7 μm to 14 μm is not less than 80%. A reflectivity of the radiative cooling fabrics in the wavelength of 300 nm to 2500 nm is not less than 80%. An average value of warp recovery angles of the radiative cooling fabrics is greater than or equal to 95°, and an average value of the weft recovery angles of the radiative cooling fabrics is greater than or equal to 91°.

Carrier with localized fibrous insert and methods

A structural reinforcement for an article including a carrier that includes: (i) a mass of polymeric material having an outer surface; and (is) at least one consolidated fibrous insert having an outer surface and including at least one elongated fiber arrangement having a plurality of ordered fibers arranged in a predetermined manner. The fibrous insert is envisioned to adjoin the mass of the polymeric material in a predetermined location for carrying a predetermined load that is subjected upon the predetermined location (thereby effectively providing localized reinforcement to that predetermined location). The fibrous insert and the mass of polymeric material are of compatible materials, structures or both, for allowing the fibrous insert to be at least partially joined to the mass of the polymeric material. Disposed upon at least a portion of the carrier will be a mass of activatable material.
