Cellulite diminishing fabric

Disclosed is a fabric having a first side and a second side, that is provided at least on part of the first side with a pattern of protrusions, wherein the protrusions comprise an expanded heat-expanding material, namely a heat-expanding material that has been expanded by heating. A polymeric layer is provided to the woven fabric to coat at least part of the protrusions. Also disclosed is a process for the production of the fabric and a garment comprising the fabric.

A stitched fabric including a barrier layer; a yarn stitched through and forming stitch holes in the barrier layer, and a coating. A melted portion of the barrier layer fills a portion of the stitch holes. The coating occupies interstitial spaces between individual strands of the yarn to prevent a liquid from passing from one side of the stitched fabric to another side of the stitched fabric via the yarn.

PROCESS OF PREPARING A DYED FABRIC INCLUDING A BACTERIAL BIOPOLYMER AND HAVING UNIQUE APPEARANCE
20170314193 · 2017-11-02 ·

The present invention provides a process for the production of a fabric having a unique appearance and the fabric so obtained. Also provided is the clothing articles, i.e. garments, including the fabric. More particularly, the present invention relates to a process for producing a woven fabric having a unique, e.g. “used” (i.e. worn-out) or “multi-shaded” appearance and the process includes a step of providing a woven fabric with a layer of bacterial biopolymer, dyeing at least part of the fabric together with the biopolymer layer, and then removing at least part of the bacterial biopolymer layer from the fabric.

METHOD FOR PERMANENT TEXTILE MANIPULATION
20170241075 · 2017-08-24 ·

The present invention relates generally to the field of clothing construction and, more particularly, to a novel method for the formation of permanent manipulations in textile materials such as pleats, ruffles, cinches, gatherings or any physical effect or pattern, through the application of an acrylic-based medium to the textile.

Physiological monitoring garments

Described herein are apparatuses (e.g., garments, including but not limited to shirts, pants, and the like) for detecting and monitoring physiological parameters, such as respiration, cardiac parameters, and the like. Also described herein are methods of forming garments having one or more stretchable conductive ink patterns and methods of making garments having one or more highly stretchable conductive ink pattern formed of a composite of an insulative adhesive, a conductive ink, and an intermediate gradient zone between the adhesive and conductive ink. The conductive ink typically includes between about 40-60% conductive particles, between about 30-50% binder; between about 3-7% solvent; and between about 3-7% thickener. The stretchable conductive ink patterns may be stretched more than twice their length without breaking or rupturing.

FOAM NODES FOR CREATING STAND OFF ON APPAREL ITEMS
20170273377 · 2017-09-28 ·

Aspects herein relate to apparel items and apparel systems that utilize applied or printed foam nodes to provide, among other things, stand-off between an apparel item and a wearer's skin surface. One or more of the foam nodes, or areas of the textile surrounding the foam nodes, may be perforated to provide a fluid communication path between an inner-facing surface and an outer-facing surface of the apparel item. The communication path may be used to facilitate air exchange between the external environment and the wearer's body and/or to provide an exit path for moisture vapor generated by the wearer.

POLYETHER POLYOL, METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYETHER POLYOL, POLYESTER ELASTOMER AND POLYURETHANE

The present invention provides a high-molecular-weight polyether polyol ensuring that when used as a polyurethane raw material, a polyurethane having excellent flexibility and elastic recovery can be obtained; and a method for producing, with high productivity, a polyether polyol having a higher number average molecular weight and a narrower molecular weight distribution than those of the raw material polyether polyol, and the polyether polyol of the present invention has a number average molecular weight of 3,500 to 5,500 and a molecular weight distribution of 1.7 to 3.0.
