Garments and equipment having temperature-induced locking camouflage patterns
Disclosed is a camouflage garment and camouflage equipment carrying a thermochromic ink composition having a first colour stale and a second colour state, wherein the first colour state switches to the second colour state at a first set temperature and the second colour state switches to the first colour state at a second set temperature. Each of the first colour state and second colour state are stable between the first set temperature and second set temperature. Also disclosed is a method for producing the camouflage garment and camouflage equipment.
Leuco dye pastel coloring kit
A leuco dye pastel marking device for use with a substrate treated with an activator of the leuco dye, such that drawing upon the substrate will reveal a color, but drawing on a normal surface will have no visible effect. A solvent such as dimethyl adipate is used to store the leuco dye in a longer-lived, more stable, solid form, and varying hardnesses and consistencies may be achieved by the addition of 12 hydroxystearic acid and ethyl cellulose. The substrate may be treated selectively with the activator such that a texture, image, or hidden message is revealed by the application of the leuco dye pastel to the substrate. One or more substrates and one or more leuco dye pastel marking devices may be presented to a child as a coloring book with pastels that only visibly mark the coloring book and no other surface.
SKIN MARKING SOLUTION AND METHOD OF USE
A method of applying camouflage solution for outdoor use comprising gathering a globule of camouflage solution, pressing the globule of camouflage solution onto a surface of a body, spreading the globule of camouflage on the surface, waiting a period of time for the camouflage solution to change from a liquid state to a solid state, and removing the camouflage solution from the surface.
METHOD OF PRODUCING PHOTOCHROMIC RESIN BODY AND METHOD OF PRODUCING FUNCTION-ADDING BASE BODY
A method of producing a photochromic resin body includes a first step, a second step and a third step. In the first step, a sublimable photochromic dye having sublimability is applied to a base body so as to obtain a function-adding base body. In the second step, the function-adding base body obtained in the first step is set to face a resin body, the function-adding base body is heated to sublimate the sublimable photochromic dye applied to the function-adding base body, and the sublimable photochromic dye is deposited on the resin body. In the third step, the resin body on which the sublimable photochromic dye is deposited in the second step is heated to fix the sublimable photochromic dye on the resin body.
MARKING COMPOSITION
The invention relates to a marking composition, by means of which better protection of goods than hitherto available can be achieved independently of the coloring of the goods. The marking composition comprises an infrared-absorbing particulate component and carbon derivative, wherein the weight ratio of infrared-absorbing component to carbon derivative is in the range of approx.. 10:1 to approx.. 10,000:1.
COLOR-CHANGING FABRIC AND APPLICATIONS
A color-changing product includes a fabric and a color-changing fiber embroidered into a portion of the fabric. The color-changing fiber includes an electrically conductive core and a coating disposed around the electrically conductive core. The coating includes a thermochromic pigment.
Chromic luminescent compositions and textiles
A chromic luminescent composition and method for fabricating the composition are disclosed. The chromic luminescent composition comprises at least one or more non-luminescent materials and one or more luminescent materials. The one or more non-luminescent materials having absorption spectra that at least partially overlap with the spectrum of incident electromagnetic radiation. The one or more luminescent materials convert at least a portion of energy of incident electromagnetic radiation to a lower energy wavelength. The one or more non-luminescent materials and the one or more luminescent materials are selected such that, when subsequently exposed to incident electromagnetic radiation, color and brightness are substantially modulated through absorption and emission as a function of incident electromagnetic radiation. Also disclosed are a chromic luminescent textile and a method for fabricating the textile.
Method for dyeing artificial fibers
A method for dyeing artificial fibers comprises preparing an artificial fiber, and adding a dyestuff, a crosslinking agent, and an appropriate amount of water into a tank for mixture. Then, the artificial fiber is immersed in the tank to obtain a dyed artificial fiber, and the dyed artificial fiber is pressed by a roller set. Finally, the dyed artificial fiber is dried out.
Textile product having latent image that slowly appears following repeated washings
A textile product is disclosed having a latent image created from water-based ink which is applied using a screen printing process. The image is thereafter hidden underneath a second image created from a plasticizing emulsion such as plastisol which is partially cured. The partial cure causes a portion of the plasticizing emulsion to be removed from the textile product during washing and after repeated washings, the latent image becomes revealed.
