NON-CHEMICAL, MOSQUITO BITE-RESISTANT GARMENTS
An insect-proof, form-fitting undergarment is provided having top and bottom parts formed of selected breathable materials and having omnidirectional stretch properties, and which top and bottom parts may be securely joined at the waist to prevent insect entry. A superfine knitted fabric is utilized to prevent insect bites.
Stretchable Signal Path Structures for Electronic Devices
A stretchable fabric signal path may include a conductive strand located between first and second outer fabric layers. The outer fabric layers may be formed from intertwined strands of elastic material. The conductive strand may have a wavy shape to accommodate stretching of the stretchable fabric signal path. First and second inner fabric layers may be located between the outer stretchable fabric layers. The inner fabric layers may be formed from intertwined strands of non-elastic material. The inner fabric layers may have strands that are intertwined with the outer fabric layers to serve as anchor points for maintaining the shape of the conductive strand as the stretchable fabric signal path expands and contracts. The outer fabric layers and inner fabric layers may be woven. The conductive strand may convey electrical signals such as audio signals, power signals, data signals, or other suitable signals.
HEMMING-STITCH-FREE WARP-KNITTED ELASTIC FABRIC AND METHOD FOR KNITTING THEREOF
The present invention discloses a hemming-stitch-free warp-knitted elastic fabric and a method for knitting thereof. The method includes: making a non-elastic yarn pass across a guide needle of the first guide bar and form the surface of the fabric by knitting via two needles or three needles in a 11 or 21 warp plain stitch loop mode, and making an elastic yarn pass across a guide needle of the second guide bar and form the inside of the fabric by knitting with the aforementioned non-elastic yarn in the same direction via three needles in a open double warp plain stitch loop mode, and two loops are continuously formed on each course of the open double warp plain stitch loop. The hemming-stitch-free warp-knitted fabric produced according to the present invention has good snagging grade, moderate horizontal straight tensile force and good resilience.
Stain Hiding Fabric With Metallic Coating
This invention relates to a method for hiding stains in medical dressings and other textile substrates. The method includes applying a metallic silver coating to a textile substrate via a plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVP) process. The metallic silver coating effectively hides any stain that comes into direct contact with the treated substrate by transferring the liquid beneath the surface of the coating. The invention also relates to textile substrates containing metallic silver coatings.
PROTECTIVE TEXTILE WITH TUNGSTEN AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
In one aspect, a method of manufacturing a protective textile may include steps of (a) twisting a first yarn with a tungsten filament; and (b) using a second yarn to cover the yarn-tungsten product generated in step (a). The yarn generated in step (b) is further twisted with an elastic spandex. In one embodiment, the first yarn is selected from a group of Nylon, Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), cotton yarn, bamboo fiber and Tencel. In another embodiment, a Polyethylene (PE) fiber is the second yarn, and the third yarn may include Nylon, PET or PE. The protective textile is advantageous because it is light, thin, soft and highly cut resistant. Also, it has great electrical conductivity and chemical stability, and it is not easy to deform after washing.

Spandex having improved unwinding properties and enhanced adhesive properties with hot melt adhesive and method for preparing same
The present invention relates to a method for preparing spandex having improved unwinding properties and enhanced adhesive properties with a hot melt adhesive and, more specifically, to a method for preparing spandex by means of adding a polystyrene polymer to a polyurethane-urea solution which is a spinning solution. Therefore, when spandex is unwound, irregular ballooning, tension spikes and the like can be effectively improved and other physical properties are unaffected. And the adhesive properties with a hot melt adhesive are enhanced.
POLYURETHANE UREA ELASTIC FIBER AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
An object of the present invention is to provide a polyurethane urea elastic fiber with high elasticity and excellent textile property stability over time by modifying the ends of the polyurethane urea polymer molecular chain, and to provide a method for producing such a polyurethane urea elastic fiber. Another object of the present invention is to provide a polyurethane urea elastic fiber that allows for easier inventory control and processing condition management of fibers when it is used, and that can be used to obtain fabrics with stable fabric characteristics and fabric quality, and to provide a method for producing such a polyurethane urea elastic fiber.
[Solution] A polyurethane urea elastic fiber comprising: polyurethane urea polymer A having a molecular chain using a polymer diol, a diisocyanate, and an organic amine as starting materials, and having a primary or secondary amino group at both ends of the molecular chain; and polyurethane urea polymer B having a molecular chain using a polymer diol, a diisocyanate, and an organic amine, and having a sulfonic acid amine salt on at least one end of the molecular chain.
