Insulating double-knit fabric
An improved insulating performance fabric has a double-knit body, formed with traditional, relatively smooth, outer surfaces, and an inner surface with the form of multiple fabric “bubbles” separated, e.g., by a grid pattern of intersecting grooves. An insulating, double-knit performance fabric of this disclosure may also be found in the form of a garment comprising the insulating, double knit performance fabric, or in the form of fabric article comprising the insulating, double knit performance fabric, etc.
ELECTROSPUN FIBROUS MEMBRANES AND USES THEREOF
Fibrous mats composed of polymeric fibers comprising an aromatic polymer are provided. Further, articles and methods of use of the fibrous mats, including, but not limited to filters and membranes for sampling of fluid samples, are also provided.
WATER-RESPONSIVE SHAPE MEMORY WOOL FIBER, FABRIC AND TEXTILE COMPRISING THEREOF, AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME
The present invention provides water-responsive, shape-memory natural fiber, yarn, fabric and textile comprising thereof with pore actuating function, and method for preparing the same. Fabric and textile prepared according to the present invention possess switchable pore size and shape responsive to varying water content absorbed thereby, and also exert corresponding thermal and water vapor regulations between the wearer and the surroundings with respect to the temperature and humidity changes.
Three-dimensional channeled fabric structure for garments and/or footwear
A fabric structure includes a first layer, a second layer, and a spacing layer that interconnects the first layer and the second layer, wherein, the interconnecting of the first layer, second layer, and third layer forms a plurality of channels.
Bedding and bedding cover sheet
A bedding includes: a cushion layer which is formed with a filament three-dimensional bonded member and which is breathable; a breathable water-repellent layer which is provided on the upper side of the cushion layer and which is breathable and water-repellent; and a breathable water-retentive layer which is provided on the upper side of the breathable water-repellent layer and which is water-retentive and is breathable during water retention.
LAMINATE PRECURSOR ROLLS AND LAMINATED DECORATIVE ARTICLES
Laminate precursor rolls are prepared by applying an aqueous foamed opacifying composition to a non-woven fabric, drying to form a dry foamed opacifying layer, applying an anti-blocking composition to the dry foamed opacifying layer. Each laminate precursor is rolled up for immediate or later use to make laminate decorative articles when the unrolled laminate precursor is laminated to the back side of a decorative fabric with or without an adhesive. The dry foamed opacifying layer is present at a dry coverage of less than or equal to 1000 g/m.sup.2. It is composed of (a) porous particles, (b′) a matrix material that is derived from a (b) binder material, (c) two or more additives comprising at least one foaming surfactant and at least one foam stabilizer, a very low amount of (d) an aqueous medium, and (e) an opacifying colorant that absorbs electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength of 380-800 nm.
Hollow porous fibers
A hollow fiber that generally extends in a longitudinal direction is provided. The hollow fiber comprises a hollow cavity that extends along at least a portion of the fiber in the longitudinal direction. The cavity is defined by an interior wall that is formed front a thermoplastic composition containing a continuous phase that includes a polyolefin matrix polymer and a nanoinclusion additive dispersed within the continuous phase in the form of discrete domains. A porous network is defined in the composition that includes a plurality of nanopores.
Knit fastener loop products
A method of making a loop fastener product features knitting, such as by circular knitting, a pile yarn and one or more ground yarns to form a stretchable knit fabric having loops of the pile yarn extending from a knit ground, with the ground yarns including polymers of differing melt temperatures. The knit fabric is then held in a desired state while the fabric is set by first applying sufficient heat to cause the lower melt temperature resin to flow into interstices of the fabric ground, and then allowing the fabric to cool. The cooled fabric ground is less stretchable in two orthogonal directions after setting than before setting, has a greater air permeability after setting than before setting, and has hook-engageable pile loops extending from bound interstices.

FACE MASK WITH FILTER MEDIUM FROM MULTICOMPONENT FILAMENTS
A face mask for protection against infectious agents includes: a filter medium from spun nonwoven, which has multicomponent filaments, which are split at least partially into elementary filaments. In an embodiment, the filter medium includes at least two layers of spun nonwoven. In an embodiment, each layer of spun nonwoven has a basis weight of 10 to 100 g/m.sup.2.
