Traceable gasket and compression packing material
A material that includes traceable particles that retain information about the fabrication of the material, which can be used to trace the origin thereof. The material may form gaskets, which are used to seal flanged joints in the food and beverage industry, and compression packings, which are used for sealing near valve stems, pump shafts, and similar machines.
Single-layer ceramic-based knit fabric for high temperature bulb seals
Knit fabrics having ceramic strands, thermal protective members formed therefrom and to their methods of construction are disclosed. Methods for fabricating thermal protection using multiple materials which may be concurrently knit are also disclosed. This unique capability to knit high temperature ceramic fibers concurrently with a load-relieving process aid, such as an inorganic or organic material (e.g., metal alloy or polymer), both small diameter wires within the knit as well as large diameter wires which provide structural support and allow for the creation of near net-shape preforms at production level speed. Additionally, ceramic insulation can also be integrated concurrently to provide increased thermal protection.
Composite oil seal having electric corrosion prevention function and method of manufacturing ground path thereof
There is provided a composite oil seal having an electric corrosion prevention function. The composite oil seal includes: a seal main body configured to seal an interior of a motor housing in a state of being mounted to a shaft in the motor housing; and a ground path mounted to the seal main body. The ground path is configured to electrically connect the shaft to the motor housing to allow current induced in the shaft to flow to the motor housing. ( )
Drum sealing gasket for washing and drying machine
A drum sealing gasket of a washing and drying machine is disposed on an end of a drum. The drum sealing gasket includes a band-shaped belt manufactured by cutting a felt in which natural fiber and synthetic fiber are mixed. A finishing space is formed by folding both peripheral portions of the belt and sewing the peripheral portions to the body of the belt with an adhesive-coated sewing thread. An extension is formed on one of the folded peripheral portions to cover a portion of the other of the folded peripheral portions. A flexible band is added and sewn to the surface of the extension with an adhesive-coated thread. Both ends of the belt are bound without a height difference.
PROCESS OF MAKING A WATER-SOLUBLE DETERGENT UNIT DOSE ARTICLE
The present invention relates to a process of making a water-soluble detergent unit dose article. The process uses a forming tube that is modified in a way that can mitigate problems that occur when displaced air moves through the forming tube.
MECHANICAL PACKING CARTRIDGE HAVING A SPIRAL PACKING ELEMENT FOR USE WITH A FLUID REGULATING DEVICE
A mechanical packing cartridge for use with a fluid regulating device to provide a seal between a movable shaft and a stationary housing of the fluid regulating device. The mechanical packing cartridge can include a packing element having a length sufficient to be coiled having a first end and a second end, a first end cap element having a main body having a first top land surface formed in a sloped helical shape for coupling to the first end of the packing element, and a second end cap element having a second top land surface formed in a sloped helical shape for coupling to the second end of the packing element.
