A fabric includes two parallel selvages, and can be wound onto itself in at least one winding direction running parallel or perpendicular to said parallel selvages. The fabric is to be kept taut and includes a support layer that has a front face and a rear face. The fabric includes at least two sheets, i.e. a first sheet and a second sheet, one of which is arranged on top of the other and which consist of reinforcement threads, said sheets being arranged on the rear face, and the reinforcement threads extending at angles of 5 to 85 relative to the winding direction, with said angles being symmetrical in relation to the winding direction.

Impregnated Cloth

A knitted spacer fabric has a tightly knitted bottom layer, a more loosely knitted upper layer and linking fibres extending across the space between the lower and upper faces. Settable material, e.g. cement, is introduced into the space between the upper and lower faces and can be caused to set by the addition of a liquid, e.g. water. Until set, the fabric is flexible and can be shaped but after the material in space has set, the fabric is rigid and can be used as a structural element in a wide range of situations. The bottom layer has an extension that extends beyond the upper face and is connected to the upper face by elastic connecting fibres that draw the extension towards the other face, thereby at least partly closing the space at the edge of the cloth and preventing the settable material from spilling out. In addition, the packing of the settable material and maximum space between the faces are such that only a predetermined amount of liquid can be accommodated within the space and that amount is matched to the water required to set the cement.

Anti-weed sheet

Disclosed is an anti-weed sheet manufactured by forming webs. The web is formed of polyolefin-based staple fibers which are at least one selected from the group consisting of polyethylene staple fibers, polypropylene staple fibers, and polyisobutylene staple fibers. The sheet is bonded integrally by the needle punching by forming the webs, and the needle punching is performed in the order of pre-needle punching, low-speed needle punching, high-speed needle punching and low-speed needle punching to uniformly bridging the surface and the inside of the formed webs and improve a binding force. At least one surface of the sheet is modified by heat treatment through hot air or a heating drum.

GRAPHIC APPEARANCE FOR SOLAR MODULES
20200303568 · 2020-09-24 · ·

Methods of producing a graphic mesh for a solar module are described in which mesh parameters such as warp fiber thickness, weft fiber thickness, and open area size are determined to meet a target energetic efficiency and a chromatic effectiveness. In some embodiments, chromatic effectiveness is based on mesh count, where the mesh count is set according to a distance at which the mesh will be viewed when assembled into the solar module. The mesh has a plurality of warp fibers having the warp fiber thickness and a plurality of weft fibers having the weft fiber thickness, that are interlaced to form a plurality of mesh unit cells. A graphic appearance is printed into the mesh using a coloring substance, where the coloring substance is absorbed by the fiber material to form the graphic mesh.
