Water Resistant Paper and Solution for Producing Same and Building Structure Employing Same
A waterproof architectural element comprising an elongated panel member composed of compressed fibrous material having a first planar surface and an opposed second planar surface. At least one elongated cellulose layer is composed of Kraft paper having paper basis weight between 30 and 90 pounds and an average thickness between 0.003 and 0.009 inches. The elongated substrate has a first planar face and an opposed second planar face. A polymeric layer overlies at least a portion of the first planar face of the elongated substrate and comprises a polymeric blend of between 50 and 80 wt. % styrene butadiene copolymer and 0.2 and 3 wt. % of a cellulose ether compound. The cellulose ether compound comprises hydrogen or an alkyl group selected from the group consisting of methyl, ethyl, hydroxyethyl, hydroxypropyl carboxymethyl, hydroxyethyl methyl, hydroxypropyl and between 30 and 50 wt. % calcium carbonate and water.

Framed poster board that reflects and refracts light as color hues
A poster board whose central region is thicker than its peripheral region. The peripheral region having a reflective and refractive surface that provides iridescent color hues within a rainbow spectrum. The reflective and refractive surface may contain a holographic pattern of geometric shapes of different sizes and shapes. The reflective and refractive surface may give rise to spaced apart bands with each of the bands containing the rainbow spectrum of color hues.
SYNTHETIC RUBBER TILE WITH THERMAL RESISTANCE MODULATION
A prefabricated tile-type coating, whose manufacture is based on the development of a polymeric composite including mainly recycled synthetic rubber obtained from the grinding of scrap automotive waste tires, virgin rubber, or a combination of both, using as a binder a novel cross-linkable acrylic resin with the ability to be processed by pultrusion. The upper layer of the tile is made of a resin with thermochromic effect that integrates an encapsulated pigment of thermochromic material with a transition temperature in the range of 20-35 C. which changes color from white under high-temperature conditions, i.e. C. or greater than dark in conditions of low temperature, that is, 20 C. or less. The tile of elastomeric character obtained has notable competitive advantages compared to other technologies in terms of thermal resistance, solar reflectance, and resistance to the impact caused by hail or other meteorological phenomena.

Block out label, label sheet, and related method
The present invention includes a label, a label sheet and a method for manufacturing the label. The label includes a paper facestock having first and second surfaces and a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive proximal to the second surface. The label can be adhered to a substrate having pre-applied indicia to cover the indicia and the label is opaque enough to prevent the viewing of the covered indicia while matching the color of the substrate.
