SPINNING DOPE FOR ARAMID AND CARBON-NANOTUBE COMPOSITE FIBER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ARAMID AND CARBON-NANOTUBE COMPOSITE FIBER USING SAME
Disclosed are a spinning dope for an aramid and carbon-nanotube composite fiber and a method of manufacturing an aramid and carbon-nanotube composite fiber using the same.
Antiviral articles
Provided is a textile made of filament yarn comprising a polymer composition that is durable and reusable having permanent or near-permanent antiviral properties and that includes a polymer, a metal ion, preferably a zinc and/or copper ion, and an optional phosphorus compound, wherein fibers and/or fabric formed from the polymer composition demonstrate antiviral properties and wherein the polymer is hygroscopic. The present disclosure also describes methods of forming the polymer compositions and methods of preparing fibers from the polymer composition.

TRILOBAL FILAMENTS AND SPINNERETS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
Various implementations include a filament that includes three lobes that extend from a central portion of the filament, and the central portion defines an axial void. Each lobe bulges outwardly at its proximal end adjacent the central portion and has edges that form a continuous concave curve toward its distal end relative to an axis A-A that extends through the distal end of the respective lobe and the central portion of the filament. Thus, a width of each lobe at the proximal end thereof is greater than a width of each lobe at or adjacent the distal end, and adjacent edges of adjacent lobes intersect each other at concave proximal ends of the adjacent edges.
FLAME RESISTANT FABRICS HAVING FIBERS CONTAINING ENERGY ABSORBING AND/OR REFLECTING ADDITIVES
Embodiments of the invention relate to flame resistant fabrics containing fibers having at least one energy absorbing and/or reflecting additive incorporated into the fibers. Inclusion of such fibers into the fabric increases the arc rating/fabric weight ratio of the fabric while still complying with all requisite thermal protective requirements.
Synthetic fiber used for fabric
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a synthetic fiber which is for use in fabrics having uniform fiber density, permeability and the like, is appropriate for high-density, high-speed weaving, and exhibits excellent weft insertion stability. This synthetic fiber is characterized by having: a fiber density of 200-720 dtex; an average intermediate loading modulus of more than 75 cN/dtex and less than 150 cN/dtex; and a variation coefficient of the intermediate modulus of 5% or less.

POLYAMIDE RESIN COMPOSITION, MOLDED POLYAMIDE RESIN ARTICLE, AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
A decrease in molecular weight in molding of a polyamide is suppressed. A polyamide resin composition of the present invention includes: a polyamide having a structural unit containing an alkylene group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms and an amide bond; and a compound having a cyclic structure in which first nitrogen and second nitrogen of a carbodiimide group are bonded by a bonding group. A molded polyamide resin article is produced by molding of the polyamide resin composition through heat pressurization.
