Textile component and method for producing a textile component
The invention relates to an embodiment in which the textile component comprises at least one flexible thread that can be woven. A plurality of semiconductor columns are attached in or on the thread and are configured to generate radiation. Furthermore, a plurality of electrical lines are located in or on the thread, by means of which lines the semiconductor columns are electrically contacted. An average height (H) of the semiconductor columns in a direction transverse to a longitudinal direction (L) of the thread is at most 20% of an average diameter (D) of the thread.
Fabric Woven by Imitating Warp Knitting
The present invention discloses a fabric woven by imitating warp knitting, which includes first warps, second warps, first wefts, and second wefts; the first warps and the first wefts are interlaced to form the face of the fabric, and the second warps and the second wefts are interlaced to form the back of the fabric; and 7 to 15 weft interlacing points are arranged between each two adjacent groups of warp interlacing points on the second warps. The fabric woven by imitating warp knitting in the present invention has not only the appearance style of woven fabrics but also the characteristics of good air permeability and good hand feel of warp-knitted fabrics.
Hygro Terry Structures, Articles, and Related Processes
A terry woven fabric includes hygro yarns structures. The hygro yarns are formed with soluble fibers, which are later removed, to define yarn structures with hollow cores.

SEMICONDUCTING MATERIALS WITH SURROUNDING RADIAL P-N DIODES
A flexible wire comprises a conductive core surrounded by one or more radial p-n diodes and alternating conductive and non-conductive bands along an outermost surface. Methods for producing the wire are also disclosed, as are textiles and other flexible materials comprising or consisting of such flexible wires.

STRETCH TOWEL
A woven terrycloth stretch fabric includes: weft yarns arranged along a first direction; first and second ground warp yarns arranged along a second direction, the first and second ground warp yarns being looped around the weft yarns with a first degree of tightness. Face loop warp yarns and back loop warp yarns are looped around the weft yarns with a second lesser degree of tightness, the ground warp yarns together with the weft yarns, together forming a base ground of the terrycloth stretch fabric. The plurality of face loop warp yarns and the plurality of back loop warp yarns each loop around the weft yarns so as to form front and back piles of the terrycloth stretch fabric. At least one of the ground warp yarns has a composite yarn comprising a cotton yarn having a polyolefin-based elastic yarn core.

MATERIALS WITH VARYING FLEXURAL MODULUS
This invention relates generally to flexible materials, especially those made of carbon fiber. The materials exhibit a first flexural modulus over a first range of flexural strain and a second flexural modulus over a second range of flexural strain. The materials provide advantages when used in an article of manufacture in which the performance may be improved by having a different flexural modulus depending on the amount of flexural strain, and thus dislocation, of the material.
