Turf Reinforcement Mats
Disclosed are exemplary embodiments of turf reinforcement mats that include spun yarns and/or multifilament yarns in either or both of the warp and weft directions.
Top cover with wash activated patterning
A top cover comprises a woven web of warp yarns and fill yarns, with a first plurality of the fill yarns (and/or the warp yarns) being non-spandex, non-core spun elastomeric yarns and a second plurality of the fill yarns (and/or the warp yarns) being non-elastomeric yarns whereby the top cover has a wash activated patterning so as to have a bulky look or texture after it is laundered, especially the first time it is laundered, which allows the top cover to serve as a top cover without the need for additional processing such as ironing or pressing.
Multiple woven gauze fabric
Provided is a multiple woven gauze fabric capable of controlling the degree of wrinkling according to use. A double woven gauze fabric is formed by stacking a front surface gauze structure A and a back surface gauze structure B. The front surface gauze structure A and the back surface gauze structure B are formed, and the front surface gauze structure A and the back surface gauze structure B are joined, as appropriate. The front surface gauze structure A is composed of a non-twist yarn, and the back surface gauze structure B is composed of a hollow yarn. That is, a gauze structure composed only of twisted yarn (solid yarn) is not included. The degree of wrinkling is controlled by considering the hollow rate of the hollow yarn.
TEXTILES AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
Various aspects disclosed relate to structures such as a textile, a garment, a garment component, footwear, or a footwear component. The present disclosure includes the structure having a first region having one of more first fibers. An individual first fiber includes co-extruded first and second filaments, the first filament formed of a first thermoplastic polymeric material. Due to expansion or contraction of the one or more first fibers, the first region contracts or expands on a change in relative humidity, relative to an equilibrium state of the first region prior to the change in relative humidity.
Papermaking fabric including textured contacting surface
Provided are woven papermaking fabrics useful in the manufacture of tissue products, particularly through-air dried tissue products. The fabrics generally have a plurality of protuberances disposed on the web contacting surfaces. The protuberances are formed from a plurality warp filaments interwoven with a plurality of shute filaments and have a hollow interior pocket, which is generally bounded by the warp and shute filaments. By providing protuberances with hollow interior pockets the air permeability of the resulting woven papermaking fabric may be improved, and in certain instances may be increased, relative to similar fabrics having protuberances that are non-hollow.
Fibrous structure and fiber-reinforced composite material
A fibrous structure includes a main plate and a sub-plate. The main plate, which is formed by a multi-layer textile, includes a plurality of stacked fiber layers. Each fiber layer includes main plate warps and main plate wefts. The sub-plate, which is formed by a multi-layer textile, includes a plurality of stacked fiber layers. Each fiber layer includes sub-plate warps and sub-plate wefts. The main plate and the sub-plate are integrally woven with each other in a state intersecting each other. The main plate wefts and the sub-plate wefts have a smaller volume density at an intersecting portion where the main plate and the sub-plate intersect than a portion separate from the intersecting portion.
Product with Biodegradable Portion
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a medical product with a biodegradable portion. The biodegradable portion is made of a biodegradable material and the biodegradable portion degrades faster than the remaining portion of the medical product.
FIBER-REINFORCED FOAM PARTICLE MOLDED ARTICLE AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention can provide a fiber-reinforced expanded particle molded article having a reinforcing material fused and integrated with the surface of an expanded molded article, wherein the reinforcing material is a fabric or a braided product produced by weaving a linear composite material produced by melting and integrating a thermoplastic fiber comprising a low-melting component fiber and a high-melting component fiber, as two or more threads selected from the group consisting of a warp, a weft and a slant thread, the fiber-reinforced expanded particle molded article exhibiting an excellent reinforcing effect; and a method for economically producing the molded article by in-mold molding with a small number of steps.
