Systems and methods for controlling blood pressure

A system for controlling blood pressure includes a wearable interface having an internal contact surface, the wearable interface configured to at least partially encircle a first portion of a first limb of a subject, a sensing module carried by the wearable interface and configured to determine at least a change in blood pressure of the first limb of the subject, and an energy application module carried by the wearable interface and configured to apply energy of two or more types to the first limb of the subject.

Monitoring the cooling of subcutaneous lipid-rich cells, such as the cooling of adipose tissue

A system and method of monitoring, controlling and/or detecting events during the removal of heat from subcutaneous lipid-rich tissue is described. In some examples, the system detects an increase in temperature at a treatment device in contact with the skin of a subject, determines that the increase in temperature is related to a treatment event, and performs an action based on the determination. In some examples, the system shuts off the treatment device, alerts an operator, or reduces the cooling in response to a determined treatment event.

Percussion Massager Having a Temperature-Controlled Massage Node

A temperature-controlled massage node that imparts either or both a heating or cooling effects is provided, which may be attached to a massager to impart a heating or cooling effect on a user with a massage effect, or optionally, without a massage effect. The temperature-controlled massage node may be affixed to the massager or may be removably coupled. The temperature-controlled massage node may be powered by the same power source as the massager or may include an independent power source located, for example, in the massage node. The massage node may be used with a massager that provides percussive massage effects, such as a massage gun, or may be used with a vibrating massager. Optionally, the massage node may include independent power, a controller and a motor to supply both a vibrating massage effect and hot and cold effect, either alone or in combination.

THERAPEUTIC CUSHIONS AND SYSTEMS FOR USING THE SAME

Therapeutic cushions having a plurality of inflatable columnar cells, pumping mechanism, and a manifold or valve system for moving a fluid between the pumping mechanism and the inflatable columnar cells. The inflatable columnar cells are constructed such that inflation and deflation of the cells cause vertical expansion/contraction of the cells with limited lateral expansion/contraction. The manifold or the valve system connect the pumping mechanism with the inflatable columnar cells such that a plurality of zones are created. A valve assembly can include a plurality of valves and is adjustable among at least three valve configurations to vary fluid connections to the inflatable columnar cells to produce rearwardly advancing waves. A venting manifold may vent air from the cells between the cushions.

Soft knee exoskeleton driven by negative-pressure linear actuator

The present invention discloses a soft knee exoskeleton driven by a negative-pressure linear actuator, including: an exoskeleton controller, a left leg knee joint soft actuator, a right leg knee joint soft actuator and the like. The soft knee exoskeleton mainly uses a miniature vacuum negative pressure pump as an air pressure power source. A DSP embedded control system performs real-time processing on the data, such as a muscle force, a knee joint angle and a human-machine interaction force, detected by a sensing system, estimates a human-machine cooperation state, and performs real-time control on the switching of the negative pressure flow and an air channel of the miniature vacuum negative pressure pump.
