A joint support unit includes a first link worn on one end side of a joint portion, a second link worn on the other end side of the joint portion, and rotatably coupled to the first link, a driving unit configured to perform rotation driving of the second link, and a rotation regulating unit configured to regulate a rotation direction and a rotation range of the second link. The rotation regulating unit includes an engagement body provided in one of the links, and an engagement part provided in the other one of the links, and engaging with the engagement body, the engagement part includes two guiding paths and that guide the engagement body moving according to the rotation direction of the second link in different directions, and a communication path.
FOLDABLE WALKING FRAME WITH ERGONOMIC ADJUSTMENT FEATURES
An improved walker includes an adjustable frame with angled portions that provide an ergonomic interface and enhanced stability for a user. The front of the walker includes a wishbone front support frame. Rather than incorporating multiple front legs extending from the top of the walker to the floor, the wishbone front support frame provides clearance on either side of a center front column. This clearance allows users to position, or maneuver, the walker close to adjacent objects. The handrail portions of the walker are pitched at a downward angle running in a direction from the rear to the front of the walker. This pitch moves the operating position of the user close to the front of walker providing a safe and stable operating position.
Automatic massaging apparatus
An automatic massage apparatus may include a main body, a massaging unit, at least two first belts and at least two second belts. The main body has a guiding rail that is hollow to provide a space for a driving unit of the massaging unit, and a long groove is formed on both sides of the guiding rail. The massaging unit has a driving unit that has a driving shaft extending towards both sides of the driving unit. Both ends of the driving shaft have a plurality of wheels disposed against the rail of the main body, and these wheels are appropriately spaced. Both sides of the massaging unit have at least one compartment and a second compartment. One end of the first belt is secured on the first end of the positioning unit, and the other end is wrapping the driving shaft in the first compartment.
Powered lower limb devices and methods of control thereof
Methods are provided for controlling a powered lower limb device. A stance phase control method is disclosed in which the required joint torque is determined based on the difference between two joint angles, such as the knee joint and the ankle joint. A swing control method is also disclosed that employs feedback-based minimum jerk trajectory control. A joint assembly for use in a modular lower limb device is also provided. The joint assembly includes a reconfigurable slider-crank mechanism that is configurable to provide a plurality of different ranges of rotational travel, rotational speeds, and torques, for customization according to different anatomical joints. The joint assembly may include a compact coupling device for coupling a ball screw of the slider-crank mechanism to an output shaft of a motor. When employed to form a modular orthosis, the joint assembly may be adapted for self-alignment as its length adjustment method during setup.
FINGER EXERCISER
A finger exerciser includes: a frame on which a palm of a subject to be put; a movable section; a first fixing element; and a second fixing element. The movable is configured to move a first finger group of a subject. The first fixing element is configured to fix a position of the first finger group to the movable section. The second fixing element is configured to fix a position of a second finger group to the frame and has a band-like member including at least two attachment parts apart from each other in a longitudinal direction of the band-like member. The band-like member is attached to the frame at the attachment parts and includes a holder whose location to the frame is changeable. The band-like member is configured to hold the second finger group in a state where the band-like member is attached to the frame.
Joint support unit and walking support apparatus
To provide a joint support unit, etc. capable of being worn on both left and right joints. A joint support unit 20 includes a first link 21 worn on one end side of a knee joint, a second link 22 worn on the other end side of the knee joint, and a driving unit 30 configured to cause the first link 21 and the second link 22 to perform rotational movement, or to relatively perform rotational movement while moving a rotation center and to perform sliding movement.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TREATING A PATIENT USING VIBRATION STIMULI, TACTILE STIMULI AND/OR THERMAL STIMULI
A device and method are provided for treating a patient with vibration and/or tactile and/or thermal stimuli. The device includes first and second stimulating units for generating first and second stimuli respectively. The stimuli are vibration and/or tactile and/or thermal stimuli, and each of the stimuli is repeated on average at a frequency of 1 to 60 Hz. The stimuli are generated partly at different times.
Wrist joint actuating structure of hand rehabilitation device
A wrist joint actuating structure of a hand rehabilitation device includes a palm orthosis body, a forearm orthosis body and a joint unit. The palm orthosis body includes a plurality of finger support rods and a thumb support rod. The joint unit is a universal joint and is connected between the palm orthosis body and the forearm orthosis body. The palm orthosis body can be turned an angle relative to the forearm orthosis body through actuation of the joint unit according to the bending degree of a user's wrist joint. A tension adjustment unit includes elastic members connected to the finger support rods and the thumb support rod. According to the different stretching tensions required by the fingers or the thumb for rehabilitation, the respective lengths of the other ends of the elastic members to be pressed by a fixing seat are adjustable, so as to adjust different stretching tensions.
CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a cardiopulmonary resuscitation system (1; 2) comprising a chest compression device (11; 12), a support frame (21) of the chest compression device (11; 12) and coupling means (31) of the chest compression device (11; 12) to a patient (200), wherein the chest compression device (11; 12) is pneumatically operated and solidly coupled to the support plate (21) at a side (121) of it support plate (21), and wherein the coupling means (31) comprise a pairs of anchoring devices (131, 231) arranged on opposite ends (321, 421) of the support plate (21) and suitable for anchoring the support plate (21) to the ground (100), wherein the pairs of anchoring devices (131, 231) consist of belts provided with at least an end operatively coupled respectively to one of the opposite ends (321, 421) of the support plate (21), and wherein each of the anchoring devices (131, 231) defines at least a loop allowing an operator to hold them onto the ground (100) by inserting the terminal segment of the upper or lower limbs of the operator within the loops.
