Washer appliance with removable agitator post using latches and torque transmitting shape
A washer appliance includes an impeller and impeller interface. An agitator post is removably positioned upon the impeller interface. A plurality of latches are supported by the agitator post and spaced apart circumferentially. Each latch may be configured for pivoting in and out of one of a plurality of latch recesses provided by the impeller interface when the agitator post is positioned on the impeller interface. Biasing members urge the latch into the latch recesses when the agitator post is positioned on the impeller interface.
Washer appliance with removable agitator post and depressible features for releasable attachment
A washing appliance having a cabinet and a wash tub positioned in the cabinet and defining a wash chamber. A wash drum is rotatably mounted within the wash chamber and is configured for receiving articles for washing. An impeller is positioned in the wash drum. An agitator post is removably received into a an impeller recess using depressible features for releasable attachment. A removable cap can be placed on the top end of the agitator or into the impeller recess.
Collapsible Agitator Assembly
A collapsible agitator assembly includes an impeller that is attachable to a drive shaft of a washing machine to rotate clothing in the washing machine for washing. A first agitator tube is attachable to the drive shaft of the washing machine to agitate water in the washing machine for washing. The first agitator tube is retractable into the impeller. A bushing extends upwardly through the first agitator tube. A second agitator tube is attachable to the bushing and the second agitator tube is retractable inside of the first agitator tube to accommodate a small load of laundry. The second agitator tube is extendable upwardly from the first agitator tube to accommodate a large load of laundry.

The present disclosure relates to a washing machine to which a pulsator structure capable of preventing damage to a pulsator is applied. The washing machine includes a cabinet in which an opening for putting laundry is formed on a front side, a tub provided inside the cabinet, a drum rotatably provided inside the tub, a pulsator rotatably installed on the drum, and a cap coupled to the pulsator to cover at least a portion of a front surface thereof, wherein the cap includes a hole formed to discharge air.

REMOVABLE FILTRATION APPARATUS FOR LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCES
A filtration system for a laundry treating machine is provided. A filtration agitator extends upwards from an impeller base and defines a generally hollow cylindrical interior, the filtration agitator having one or more water inlets along its perimeter to permit passage of water from a treating chamber into the interior and one or more water outlets along its perimeter to permit passage of the water out of the interior. A removable cylindrical brush assembly is provided, that, when installed to the filtration agitator, extends along the vertical length of the agitator and defines a sequence of filtration elements through which a water flow passes from the water inlets to the water outlets. The water flow is configured to pass over the sequence of filtration elements in a predefined order to remove particulates from the water flow during a wash cycle.
