The present invention provides, among other things, a clothing and fabric storage container including a heat exchanger operable to reduce the temperature of clothing and fabric located in an interior of the container in order to reduce or eliminate odor causing bacteria from the clothing and fabric. In some embodiments, the container includes a controller. In some such embodiments, the controller operates the heat exchanger to reduce an interior container temperature and to maintain the temperature of the interior of the container below a pre-determined temperature. In some embodiments, the clothing storage device generates cold air inside of the clothing storage device with at least one cooling mechanism that is powered by an electrical cord and plug that is plugged into an electrical wall socket. The clothing storage device is designed to cool the clothing while the clothing is inside the clothing storage device.

A laundry treating apparatus has a cabinet, a laundry receiving space in the cabinet and providing a predetermined space for accommodate laundry. A domestic clothes dryer comprises a rotating drum defining a drying chamber, an air inlet upstream the drum and at least a hollow lifter mounted in the drum, wherein said hollow lifter is in communication with the air inlet for distributing air inside the drum through a plurality of openings. The air inlet comprises a shaped air plenum chamber facing a lower portion of a rear perforated wall of the drum and capable of delivering air to said lifter and/or directly to the drum through said rear perforated wall.

A clothing treatment apparatus is disclosed. The invention relates to a generator which is generally used in the textile field and integrated into the steaming machines (chambers) enabling the dying material of the pattern-printed or plain-dyed fabrics dyed with the various dyes to be bound on the fabric such as not to be removed again, which enables the dyed fabrics to be kept in the saturated steam, superheated steam or hot air conditions for a certain period of time, and which is capable of forming each of these three phases.

A clothes care apparatus according to a disclosed embodiment includes: a chamber; an upper fan provided on an upper side of the chamber and configured to move air in a lower side direction of the chamber; a lower fan provided on a lower side of the chamber and configured to move air in an upper side direction of the chamber; a first motor configured to rotate the lower fan; a steam generating device configured to generate steam by heating water; and a controller configured to control on/off of the steam generating device and the first motor and turn on the steam generating device in a first section for supplying the generated steam into the chamber and turn on the first motor in a second section for dispersing the steam by the air moving into the chamber.

A fabric treatment apparatus including a fabric receiving unit having a fabric receiving space formed therein, a steam spray device for supplying evaporation heat to water introduced thereinto to generate steam to be sprayed to the fabric receiving unit, and an additive supply device for receiving an additive to be dissolved in water flowing to the steam spray device, the additive supply device having a hole, through which water to be mixed with the additive is introduced, the hole being opened by fluid pressure of water flowing to the steam spray device.

A steam treatment system (10) for textiles can include a detachable hanger (14) which is removably attachable to a steam unit (12). The steam unit (12) can include a vaporizing element (16) which is operatively connectable to a water source (18) and is designed to produce steam. A steam outlet (20) with a shut-off valve (22) can also be part of the steam unit (12). The detachable hanger (14) can be configured to support an article of textile such as a shirt, suit, dress, slacks, towel or the like. More particularly, the hanger (14) can include a support body enclosing a steam chamber (24) and a steam inlet (26) which is removably attachable to the steam outlet (20) of the steam unit (12). In this manner the detachable hanger (14) can be removably coupled to the steam unit (12) to allow steam to fill the hanger (14). The support body can also include a plurality of steam vents or apertures (30) which are oriented to transmit steam from the steam chamber (24) to the article of textile supported thereon. Such a steam treatment system (10) can find effective application in homes and service oriented businesses such as hotels and gyms.
