The brake cable includes an elongate portion extending along the height-adjustable assembly and a slack portion. The patient transport apparatus further includes a brake cable housing coupled to and axially offset from the height-adjustable assembly. The slack portion of the brake cable is enclosed within a hollow interior of the brake cable housing.
ELECTRIC MASSAGE INSTRUMENT
An electric massage instrument can efficiently and easily control ultrasonic vibration function and infrared irradiation function to be simultaneously applied to a desired part. A single circuit board on which an electronic circuit having an ultrasonic vibration function and an infrared irradiation function is arranged in a gripping part gripped by hand, and irradiation parts of the infrared radiation function are provided on the contact part side of the tip end arranged to extend the circuit board. A housing forming a gripping part and a contact part is a single continuous housing made of synthetic resin, and the single circuit board extending to the tip end is fitted and fixed.
WHEELED WALKER
A rollator including a frame having first and second side frames extending along respective ones of a pair of planes. First and second upper body supports are coupled to and disposable at an adjustable height above the frame. A pair of forearm gutters are coupled to respective ones of the first and second upper body supports for engaging and supporting a respective forearm of the user during use. Each forearm gutter includes a peripheral edge, a forward midpoint on the peripheral edge, and a rearward midpoint on the peripheral edge. Each forearm gutter defines a longitudinal axis bisecting the respective forearm gutter and passing through the forward midpoint and the rearward midpoint. The forward midpoint and the rearward midpoint on each forearm gutter fall between the pair of planes.
Apparatus for simulating sexual motion
Provided is an apparatus for producing a motion to be felt by a user comprising; a) a motor for generating a motion; b) a first member mechanically coupled to the motor, the member configured to have a motion of up and down; and c) a second member mechanically coupled to the first member and attached to a fixed location on the apparatus, the second member configured to tilt as a result of the motion of the first member; wherein the user has an option of choosing to experience the up and down motion generated by the first member or the tilting motion generated by the second member. The first and the second member can be each configured to receive a different extension, each extension configured to penetrate a body of the user. Provided is an apparatus for producing a motion to be felt by a user comprising; a) a motor for generating a motion; b) a cam with a groove going around the cam mechanically couple to the motor, the cam rotating as a result of motion from the motor; c) a slider mechanically coupled to the cam with the groove, the slider moving up and down as the cam rotates; d) a rod attached to the slider, the rod moving up and down with the slider, a first member mechanically coupled to the motor, the member configured to have a motion of up and down; wherein the rod moves up and down as the motor generates motion.
Exoskeleton including a mechanical ankle link having two pivot axes
The invention relates to an exoskeleton including: a foot structure; a lower leg structure; a mechanical knee link having a pivot axis; and a mechanical ankle link connecting the foot structure to the lower leg structure and including a first pivot connection having a first pivot axis that is substantially parallel to the pivot axis of the mechanical knee link, and a second pivot connection having a second pivot axis that is perpendicular to the first pivot axis and forms an angle of between 30 and 60 with the support plane when the exoskeleton is upright and at rest.
Adjustable Bowel Treatment Arm
An adjustable bowel treatment arm (110) features a telescoping shaft (112) having a proximal end and a distal end. A handle (118) is secured to the distal end of the telescoping shaft, while a pivot junction (122) positioned at the proximal end of the telescoping shaft. A stem has a proximal end and a distal end, where the distal end of the stem is attached to the pivot junction. A head (124) is attached to the proximal end of the stem.
UPPER TORSO AUGMENTATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
An upper torso augmentation system configured to augment a native strength of an arm of the user by aiding movement of the arm. The upper torso augmentation system including a body chassis configured to be worn around a torso of the user, the shoulder assembly pivotably coupled to the body chassis, and an upper arm assembly pivotably coupled to the shoulder assembly, the upper arm assembly including an assisted force mechanism, wherein an output of the assisted force mechanism is adjustable via a first adjustment mechanism and a second adjustment mechanism thereby enabling the output to approximate a determined minimum assist force required for the user to move their arm through a desired range of motion, so as to minimize any excess torque produced by the upper torso augmentation system.
Wrap around walking aid
A walking aid that assists a user in walking in an upright position. The walking aid may include a rear lower frame structure, a front lower frame structure, a first front wheel coupled to a first front lower frame member, a second front wheel coupled to a second front lower frame member, a first rear wheel coupled to the first rear lower frame member, a second rear wheel coupled to the second rear lower frame member, an upper frame structure comprising a first upper frame member, a second upper frame member, a first forearm support, and a second forearm support, a first pivot and latch mechanism pivotally coupling the first upper frame member and the first rear lower frame member together, and a second pivot and latch mechanism pivotally coupling the second upper frame member and the second rear lower frame member together.
WEARABLE ASSISTED-WALKING DEVICE
Provided is a wearable assisted-walking device including one lower attachment body to the foot defining a lower anchoring point at the heel of the foot of a leg of the user; an upper attachment body to an upper part of the leg proximal from the knee defining an upper ventral anchoring point and an upper dorsal anchoring point arranged on the opposite side of the coronal plane of the user; and an intermediate attachment body defining a first intermediate anchoring point, a second intermediate anchoring point and a third intermediate anchoring point, each anchoring point movable respect and connected by cables to the leg; the intermediate attachment body being adapted to store the energy by a relative motion between the anchoring points and then use it for assist walking.
