A massage chair can include at least one air cell apparatus, which can be integrated into a shoulder portion, leg rest portion, arm portion, and/or other portion of the massage chair. An inflatable air bladder can be connected to each air cell apparatus. Each air cell apparatus can transition between a retracted position and an extended position. The air cell bladder can be configured to inflate when the air cell apparatus is in the extended position, thereby securing an individual to the massage chair. Various assemblies can be used to transition the air cell apparatus between the retracted and extended positions. Other embodiments are disclosed.
DEVICE FOR DRY MASSAGE BY MEANS OF WATER JETS
The invention relates to a device (V) for dry water-jet massage, comprising: a tub (W), which is filled with massage water and runs from a head end to a foot end in the longitudinal direction and from a left side to a right side in the transverse direction, having a film material (F) as a cover closing the tub (W) water-tight on the top side, which film material is simultaneously used as a lying surface for a person (Pe) to be treated and allows the transmission of pressure pulses; a nozzle cart (1), which can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the tub (W) and bears at least two nozzles (D, D′, D″), which nozzles (D, D′, D″) can be fed with massage water from the tub (W) by means of a pump (P) in order to eject one water jet per nozzle against the bottom side of the film material (F); a first drive (3) for the forward and backward movement of the nozzle cart (1) in the longitudinal direction of the tub (W), the at least two nozzles (D, D′) moving forward and backward in the longitudinal direction of the tub (W) with the movement of the nozzle cart (1); and a second drive (5, ZR, Z), which moves the nozzles (D, D′) in the transverse direction of the tub (W). A device by means of which regions of the body of the person that are at a distance from the plane of the film can also be treated is achieved in that the film material (F) has one or more cavities on the bottom side of the film, which run in the transverse direction, are directed at the person (PE) lying on the film material (M) and shape the film (F) into one or more elevated portions (100), which are convex on the top side of the film.
Dynamic range of motion orthosis
An orthosis provides a wearer at least one of forearm supination, forearm pronation, shoulder internal rotation, shoulder external rotation, shoulder adduction, shoulder abduction, shoulder flexion, shoulder extension, elbow flexion, and elbow extension. It includes a shoulder assembly adapted to be secured to a wearer's shoulder and an upper arm assembly connected to the shoulder assembly and adapted to be secured around a wearer's upper arm. The upper arm assembly defines an upper arm assembly axis. A wrist assembly is adapted to be secured around a wearer's wrist. The wrist assembly defines a wrist assembly axis. A splint arm assembly includes an upper splint arm, a lower splint arm, and a pivot pivotally connecting the upper splint arm to the lower splint arm. The upper splint arm adjustably connects to the upper arm assembly and the lower split, arm adjustably connects to the wrist assembly.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TREATING PAIN WITH ELECTRICAL STIMULATION
Devices, systems and methods are provided for treating migraine headaches and other conditions by non-invasive electrical stimulation of nerves and other tissue. A hand-held device includes a housing with a controller having a signal generator, an electrode for delivering electrical signals, and a conductive surface configured as a return path for the electrical signals. In certain implementations, the electrode is repositionable with respect to the housing. The patient can self-apply the hand-held device by pressing it against areas in need of pain relief. The device may include a pressure-sensitive gating switch to control delivery of the stimulation therapy. In certain embodiments, the electrode is a rollerball electrode. The device may include a chamber for retaining and dispensing conductive gel to the therapy site. In certain approaches, the device includes an electrode support for coupling an electrical stimulation system to the head for hands-free electrical stimulation therapy.
Intelligent massage chair and the control method of the same
Disclosed herein are an intelligent massage chair and a control method thereof. The intelligent chair includes a sensing unit mounted on the intelligent chair, and including at least one sensor, and a controller. The controller performs a control to determine a user's body condition based on the information about the user's body acquired through the sensing unit, and to determine an operation mode based on the determined user's body condition, and to add the information about the user's body, when it is determined that the determined operation mode is not an optimum operation mode for the user. One or more of an intelligent massage chair, an autonomous vehicle, a user terminal and a server of the present disclosure can be associated with artificial intelligence modules, drones (unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)), robots, augmented reality (AR) devices, virtual reality (VR) devices, devices related to 5G service, etc.
