KNITTED CONTINUOUS FILAMENT LYOCELL FABRICS
The invention relates to a knit fabric. There is a need for knit fabrics made that are comfortable to wear, have good washability and high softness. Good washability implies both dimensional stability of the fabric and maintaining positive surface aspects such as hairiness, pilling and fiber splice even after several washings. This object is solved according to the invention by a knitted fabric made from at least one yarn which consists of or contains lyocell filaments. The resulting fabric has a high wearing comfort and superior mechanical qualities.

A thermally fixable textile fabric, particularly useful as a fixable interlining, lining, and/or outer fabric in a textile industry, includes: a carrier material comprising a melt-blown non-woven fabric. Disclosed is a nubuck-finished leather-like sheet including a non-woven fabric that is an entangled body of ultrafine filaments, wherein the non-woven fabric includes a napped surface having napped fibers formed thereon, and the napped fibers are fixed to an acrylic resin on the napped surface while being laid down. Preferably, the acrylic resin is present so as to retain voids in the napped surface, while being made malleable.

A napped artificial leather including a non-woven fabric including ultrafine fibers and a polyurethane, the napped artificial leather including a napped surface formed by napping the ultrafine fibers on a surface thereof, wherein the napped surface has, after a Martindale abrasion test in accordance with JIS L 1096 (6.17.5E method, Martindale method) under a pressing load of 12 kPa and 50000 times of abrasions, a ratio of the polyurethane observed by a surface observation using an electron microscope in a portion that has been subjected to the Martindale abrasion test, of 4.0% or less.

A surface treatment agent which is an aqueous emulsion containing: (a) a fluorine-free polymer including: (i) repeating units derived from a long-chain (meth)acrylate ester monomer represented by the formula: CH.sub.2CA.sup.11-C(O)O-A.sup.12, wherein A.sup.11 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and A.sup.12 is a linear or branched aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 10-30 carbon atoms; (b) a surface active agent including both of a nonionic surface active agent and an anionic surface active agent, wherein the amount of the anionic surface active agent is at least 22% by weight, based on the total of the nonionic surface active agent and the anionic surface active agent; and (c) a liquid medium comprising water.
