Robot for upper-limb rehabilitation
The inventive concept relates to an upper-limb rehabilitation robot that includes a finger exercise device that is mounted on the back of a patient's hand and that exercises a finger of the patient for rehabilitation, a wrist exercise device that is provided on a wrist of the patient and that exercises the wrist of the patient, and an upper-limb exercise device that is spaced apart from the wrist exercise device and that exercises an upper limb of the patient.
THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE DEVICE
A therapeutic massage device includes a pressure head configured in a therapy side of a platform. The platform may pivot or rotate to enable varying stretch and therapy angles to activate a variety of muscles. The pressure head may be pressed against a body part and in particular an appendage, such as a person's foot or hand to stimulate reflexes and massage muscles and other soft tissue for therapy. The angle of the platform may be selected to provide the best angle for pressure application via the pressure head. A platform may rotate about a pivot or have a shape to allow the platform to rotate on a curved surface. A platform may have curved therapy surfaces to enable varying degrees of stretch. A pressure head may include a vibration device and may be a massage ball that is detachably attachable to the platform.
POST-SURGICAL OBSTRUCTION TREATMENT RECOVERY AND REHABILITATION THERAPY
Medical pressure therapy can be used on a patient having undergone treatment to reopen an arterial obstruction, such as a stenosis or occlusion. The medical pressure therapy can establish and maintain persistently good distal runoff. The can help ensure the patency of the region having undergone the treatment procedure. In some examples, the technique involves enclosing at least a portion of a limb of a patient on which an obstruction treatment procedure has been performed in an enclosure such that the portion of the limb is sealed from external conditions. The technique further involves alternately applying a negative pressure within the enclosure and releasing the negative pressure from within the enclosure, thereby increasing a volume and velocity of blood flowing past a region of the blood vessel previously-obstructed and thereby increasing distal runoff.
INTELLIGENT HEALTH STRAP
An intelligent health strap. A detection and analysis method comprises: acquiring multiple groups of pulse data collected by multiple pulse sensors (11); and according to the multiple groups of pulse data, using a calculation method for analysis to obtain physical sign information (12). An intelligent health wrist strap and an intelligent health ankle strap having multiple pulse sensors are used for performing pulse monitoring and analysis, displaying multiple types of pulse physical sign information, and transmitting data to an external device, so that a user can conveniently monitor changes of individual physiological status, and the intelligent health wrist strap and the intelligent health ankle strap can provide massage and health-care for wrists and ankles.
Non-invasive methods for prevention, detection, treatment, and healing of neoplastic processes in dogs and cats
The invention is a method consisting of stimulation of specific new acupuncture points to prevent, treat and heal specific types of neoplastic process in dogs and cats. The specific acupuncture points used in the method of the invention have not been previously disclosed for the treatment of neoplastic processes. The treatments can be carried out by accredited practitioners in a clinical setting or by a layperson. The stimulation can be provided by any of the known techniques used for stimulation of controlling points, including, but not limited to, traditional acupuncture needles, auto-injector needles, electric acupuncture, acupressure, lasers, acupuncture lasers, UV radiation, infra-red radiation, heat, magnets, moxibustion, and a combination of two or more of these techniques, for example, the use of both needles and laser acupuncture simultaneously in a single treatment session.
Vibrating foot massager
The application provides for a vibrating foot massager that resembles a common shoe. This vibrating foot massager has a number of vibrating motors which can be placed in a variety of combinations within the sole of the shoe. Preferably, the vibrating foot massager will be equipped with a power source so the entire device will be portable. This will enable a user to enjoy the benefits of receiving a foot massage while on the go. The vibrating foot massager is also equipped with a power switch such that when the motors are not in use, the device operates as a functional shoe.
HAND-PRESSING HEADACHE-RELIEVING DEVICE
A headache-relieving device is provided including a device body having a first side, a second side and, preferably, a connecting portion connecting the second side to the first side. A hand space is formed between the first side and the second side allowing a user to insert his or her hand. A pressing element is provided on the second side. The pressing element is configured to apply pressure against a pressure point of a user's hand positioned in the hand space. The device provides an effective, drug-free and risk-free headache relieving device which is easy to carry and store, and can be conveniently and easily turned to in the event of a headache.
System and method utilizing vacuum for promoting the healing of sprains
A system and apparatus for promoting perfusion at a tissue site containing a sprain by applying a vacuum to intact skin extending over or surrounding the tissue site. The system and apparatus comprise a manifold formed from a porous material and configured to be disposed proximate the intact skin for distributing vacuum to the intact skin, and a sleeve adapted to cover the manifold and form a chamber containing the manifold to seal the manifold within the chamber between the sleeve and the intact skin. The system and apparatus further comprise a fluid coupling member adapted to deliver vacuum to the manifold for distribution to the intact skin. A method for applying vacuum to the intact skin of a tissue site is also disclosed and described herein.
Motion assisting apparatus
A motion assisting apparatus includes a multijoint structure having links in series rotatably connected in a relative manner, the links being integrally deformed in a bendable manner, a linear member inserted through each of the links, wherein one end is fixed to the link in front and another end is elongated via the link in rear, a sliding/holding part which fixes an elongated portion of the linear member, and slidably guides the rear link in a connecting direction between each of the links, a drive unit which drives the rear link to slide toward the sliding/holding part and causes the multijoint structure, through which the linear member has been inserted, to engage in an extending or flexing motion, and a control unit which drive-controls the drive unit so that a sliding direction, a sliding speed and a sliding position of the rear link will become an intended state.
REHABILITATION TRAINING APPARATUS
Disclosed is a rehabilitation training apparatus including a pair of first tracks that are arranged in parallel at an interval, a second track that is perpendicular to the pair of first tracks and is movably connected to the pair of first tracks, a hand holder that is movably provided in the second track and on which a hand of the user is held, a holder driving unit that reciprocally moves the hand holder along the second track, and a track driving unit that reciprocally moves the second track along the pair of first tracks.
