BENCH ASSEMBLY FOR STRETCHING THE QUADRICEPS FEMORIS AND/OR HIP FLEXORS MUSCLES
20230263683 · 2023-08-24 ·

A bench assembly that stretches and develops the quadriceps femoris and/or hip flexors muscle groups of a client with the help of a therapist or trainer. The bench assembly has a basal subassembly with a front member that faces the therapist. Extending rearwardly from the front member is a first side member. A rear member extends laterally from the first side member. Each of the front and rear members have an upwardly oriented column that extends from a bottom rail of the associated member. The columns underlie a client support pad on which the client may lie recumbent and face upwardly with his/her legs positioned towards the front member before a trainer applies a stretching regimen to the legs and/or hips.

Wearable stimulation device for stimulating deep muscles of abdomen and waist of human body

A wearable stimulation device includes a wearable member, a stimulation unit, and a driver. The stimulation unit is secured to the wearable member. The stimulation unit includes an immovable end, a stimulation end, and a power element. The power element is connected between the immovable end and the stimulation end for driving the stimulation end to reciprocate relative to the immovable end. The driver is in signal connection with the power element. The driver is configured to output a vibration signal to the power element for the stimulation end to have a stroke of between 8.8 mm and 10.8 mm, a thrust of between 5.6 N and 7.6 N and a reciprocating frequency of between 180 Hz and 220 Hz, thereby stimulating the deep muscles of the abdomen or waist of a human body without affecting the superficial muscles.

Sacroiliac joint exercise assistance device in lateral decubitus position
11311764 · 2022-04-26 · ·

An exercise assist device transitively moves a sacroiliac joint in a lateral decubitus position. The following description is provided in the context of a left lateral decubitus position. The upper right leg is placed on a stand in the lateral decubitus position, and the upper right leg is then extended transitively backward with a sacral area supported by a sacrum support pad. Since a posterior side of a lower left sacroiliac joint is slightly opened, a sacrum slides backward via a right hip joint. This improves mobility of the lower left sacroiliac joint.

Assistive stretching device and method of use
11311444 · 2022-04-26 · ·

An assistive stretching device worn by a user to reduce physical stress while lifting to aid another individual in stretching and method is disclosed. The device includes a belt sized to fit around the torso of the user, first and second pulleys supported on the belt, first and second wrist attachments; first and second ankle attachments; first and second cords threaded through corresponding pulleys with one end attached to corresponding ankle attachments and the opposite end attached to corresponding wrist attachments. The pulleys operate to change the direction of the lifting force, making it easier to lift and stretch the anterior aspects of the musculature of the individual rather than lifting dead weight. An attachment including a dual pulley system may replace the first and second pulleys and includes an arm supporting a pulley at each end and openings to provide leverage adjustments when attaching the arm to the belt.

PORTABLE MASSAGE APPLIANCE

The invention relates to a portable massage appliance having a shape-modifiable contact segment to be placed onto a body region to be massaged and one or more electrically drivable massage elements that are arranged inside a main part and are designed to cause modification of the shape of the contact segment during operation, a protective segment being arranged between the contact segment and the inner part of the main part.

HIP EXOSKELETON
20220117825 · 2022-04-21 ·

An exoskeleton, wherein, comprises a hip mechanism (41). The hip mechanism (41) comprises a left hip (412) and a right hip (413). The left hip (412) and the right hip (413) respectively comprise at least three single-axis mechanisms collaboratively realizing isomorphic motion of the hip mechanism (41) and the hip of the human body.

Motion assistance apparatus and method of controlling the same

A motion assistance apparatus may include a first fixing member to be fixed to a portion of a user, a second fixing member to be fixed to another portion of the user, a driving source provided in the first fixing member, a power transmitting member connected between the driving source and the second fixing member, a sensing portion configured to sense a fixing state of the first fixing member or the second fixing member, and a controller configured to control the driving source based on information received from the sensing portion.

Multifunctional swivel chair tray and using method thereof

A multifunctional swivel chair tray includes a main body. The main body is connected with a warping plate through a second rotating shaft. An ascending and descending block penetrates through the second rotating shaft. The ascending and descending block is connected with an ascending and descending driving mechanism. A first adjusting rod penetrates through one side of the main body. The first adjusting rod is connected with a multi-spring grouping adjusting mechanism. A second adjusting rod is arranged on another side of the main body. The second adjusting rod is connected with a gear adjusting mechanism. The warping plate is connected with a base plate through a third rotating shaft. A slide plate is slidably connected onto the base plate. A slide plate locking mechanism is arranged between the base plate and the slide plate.

Wearable respiration management device

Various implementations include wearable devices and methods for managing respiration and user health. In some particular implementations, a wearable device includes: a mount sized to couple with a body part of a user; and a housing coupled with the mount. The housing at least partially contains: a contact element for applying pressure to the body part; and an actuator coupled with the contact element, the actuator configured to actuate the contact element in applying pressure to the body part according to a prescribed pattern. The prescribed pattern includes at least two repetitions, each repetition having: a first segment at a progressively increasing pressure; a second segment at a substantially constant pressure, following the first segment; a third segment at a progressively decreasing pressure, following the second segment; and a fourth segment at a substantially constant pressure that is less than the substantially constant pressure of the second segment.
