The present invention relates to an electronic device to be worn on a user body, the electronic device comprising: a sensor configured to sense the user body and generate body condition information; an operation implementator configured to perform a health care operation having one state among a plurality of operation states; a communicator configured to communicate with an external device; and a controller configured to: control the operation implementator to perform a health care operation of one state among the plurality of operation states with regard to the user body, control the communicator to transmit the body condition information and information about the operation state of the operation implementator to the external device, and control the operation implementator to perform the health care operation of the operation state corresponding to user control information received from the external device through the communicator among the plurality of operation states of the operation implementator. Thus, it is possible to be worn on a user's body and sense the user's body, transmit the sensed information, and provide a health care operation to a user in response to the received user control information.

Compression garment for neurological and circulatory disorders

A compression garment for a neurological disorder includes a body portion and a pad. The body portion may be operable to wrap around a foot and the pad can attach to an inner surface of the body portion. The pad can include an outward protrusion and/or an inward recess. A guide sleeve may be dimensioned to wrap together with the body portion around the foot, the pad being disposable between the body portion and the guide sleeve. A first tensioning band may be attached onto to first and second locations of the body portion and be operable to secure opposing first and second portions of the inner surface of the body portion to secure the outward protrusion and/or recess of the pad against the abductor hallucis and flexor hallucis brevis muscles of the foot. The outward protrusion can include a receiver for the metatarsal head.

INTERACTIVE EXERCISE SYSTEM

A system for providing exercise incentives and/or providing massage is disclosed herein. The system includes a pair of shoes to be worn by a user during exercise; a software application downloadable to an electronic device and configured to wirelessly communicate with the pair of shoes; and a server in communication with the software application. In some embodiments, the pair of shoes includes massage pads and cooling/warming elements. The system is primarily useful for providing a monetary incentive to exercise and secondarily useful for providing relief to a user's feet via massage.

A METHOD OF CORRECTING THE PREDICTED ACUPUNCTURE POINT POSITION AND A MASSAGE CHAIR TO DO THIS
20200197255 · 2020-06-25 · ·

A method for correcting a massage position and a massage chair for performing the same includes allowing a shoulder height measurement module to measure a shoulder height of a user, allowing a hip bone position prediction module to predict a hip bone position through a preset prediction method by using the shoulder height measured by the shoulder height measurement module, allowing a massage position determination module to determine a plurality of determination massage positions and a plurality of correction massage positions spaced from the determination massage positions by a predetermined distance on the basis of the hip bone position predicted by the hip bone position prediction module, and allowing a massage ball assembly control module to control a massage ball assembly so as to massage the determination massage positions and the correction massage positions determined by the massage position determination module.

MULTIFUNCTION FOOTREST APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE

A multifunction footrest apparatus for a vehicle is provided in a space in which a passenger seat is positioned so as to be movable in a front-rear direction. The multifunction footrest apparatus may be inserted into and housed in a lower space under a dashboard including a glove box, and it may perform a massage and an acupressure for calves and soles of a back seat passenger by using a lower door including a first massage device and an upper door including a second massage device and an acupressure plate.

METHOD OF TREATING HEEL PAIN
20200147186 · 2020-05-14 ·

A method treats heel pain related to a compression of the medial/plantar nerve complex of the heel between the Quadratus Plantae and/or the Abductor Hallucis muscles. The method includes injecting a botulinum toxin into the insertional plantar fascia area of each of the Abductor Hallucis and Quadratus Plantae muscles in a foot of a patient having the heel pain.

Insole design and actuator placement for balance and gait

A wearable system is directed to neurological stimulation of a human foot, and includes a controller with at least one bias signal generator for outputting a driving signal. The system further includes a power source that provides electrical energy to the controller, including providing electrical energy to the bias signal generator. The system also includes a platform in the form of an insole insert of a shoe, the insole insert having a plurality of actuators positioned in a medial arch region of the foot. The plurality of actuators stimulate the medial arch region in response to receiving the driving signal from the controller. The stimulation of the plurality of actuators provides a subthreshold bias signal to target cells with a subthreshold bias signal magnitude that is below a threshold where the target cells are activated by a stimulus. The plurality of actuators is surrounded with a vibration dissipating material.

Active exercise apparatus for lower limbs

The present invention is intended to provide an active exercise apparatus for lower limbs that allows a user to perform on a floor lower limb active exercise highly effective in preventing thrombosis. An active exercise apparatus for lower limbs 10 includes, for example, a base body 1; a shaft 2 fixed to the base body 1 such that a central axis is vertical to the surface of the base body 1; arms 3a and 3b that are rotatably attached to the shaft 2 and are extended in two directions at an equal angle with respect to the central axis of the shaft 2; sole support plates 4a and 4b that are attached to leading ends of the arms 3a and 3b and rotatable by rotation axes x.sub.1 and x.sub.2 parallel to the surface of the base body 1 and the rotation axes z.sub.1 and z.sub.2 vertical to the surface of the base body 1; and reaction force exertion members that are installed on the back surfaces of the sole support plates 4a and 4b to exert a reaction force on backward rotation by rotation axes x.sub.1 and x.sub.2 parallel to the surface of the base body 1.
