FLUID DISPENSING APPARATUS
An apparatus and method of using a device for dispensing fluid comprising a flexible and collapsible container, a fluid dispenser pump connected to the flexible and collapsible fluid container configured to draw fluid from the flexible and collapsible fluid container into the fluid dispenser pump and to dispense fluid through a fluid delivery channel to an exit port upon actuation of the pump. The dispenser pump having an actuator comprising a dose delivery button, and a sensor located in the apparatus and configured to actuate the dispenser pump upon physical contact of the dose delivery button by a user.
Device for Deterring Abuse of Drugs
The present disclosure relates to devices for deterring drug abuse and methods thereof. More particularly, the disclosure relates to devices for deterring drug abuse by using physical deterrents and/or deterrent substances, including a mechanism that releases a deterrent substance when improper access of the drug is attempted, and methods thereof.
Medical packaging sleeve having a tamper-evident cap and a mounting securing mechanism for sterile use
Medical packaging sleeve having a tamper-evident cap for sterile use consisting of an approximately cylindrical sleeve body which is open on one side and the opening of which can be tightly sealed by a sealing stopper, wherein the position of the sealing stopper can be fixed with an approximately sleeve-shaped tamper-evident cap which extends over the sealing stopper, wherein the tamper-evident cap can be snapped onto the sleeve body, wherein the sealing stopper can be screwed into the opening of the sleeve body with a threaded screw connection, and there is a visual inspection to check the sealed rotational position between the sealing stopper and the sleeve body, wherein the tamper-evident cap is non-rotatably connected to the sealing stopper and can be engaged with the sleeve body only in the sealed rotational position of the sealing stopper.
Method, system and apparatus for guiding and tracking medication usage
Methods and systems are provided for tracking and guiding a patient's clinically directed medication usage. Medicaments are placed in secure passive packaging that must be unlocked to enable dispensing of a dose or a set of doses. This packaging is designed to be difficult to open manually, and instead is designed to dispense only when used in combination with an unlocking device. The unlocking device is a separate device containing electronics, mechatronics or both, to unlock and dispense from the packaging and to track and guide usage. Together, the secure container and the unlocking device track medication usage, deter an excessive rate of patient usage, and deter unauthorized access to medication.
Liquid medicine supply device
A liquid medicine supply device (1) including a container (10) which has a containing portion (11) and a mouth (16); an interior cap (30); and an exterior cap (60). The interior and exterior caps (30, 60) include a ratchet mechanism (50, 80). The interior cap (30) includes: an interior-cap main body (32) with a contact ring (44) to tightly close the container (10); and an engaging portion (50). The exterior cap (60) includes: an exterior-cap main body (62); and an engaged portion (80). The engaged portion (80) and the engaging portion (50) constitute the ratchet mechanism. The contact ring (44) is distant from the engaging portion (50) in a radial direction of the interior-cap main body (32).
LOCKING MEDICATION CONTAINERS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
The present discloser provides methods and systems related to a medication container that may be locked using a locking mechanism. In one exemplary method, a request from a user may be received by a medication provider for a medication. The medication may be placed in a medication container with a locking mechanism that is operable to lock and unlock the medication container. The medication container may be locked using the locking mechanism. The locked medication container with the medication within may be provided to the user. Subsequent to providing the locked medication container to the user, a request may be received from the user to access the medication in the medication container. A credential may be sent to the user that is usable, via the locking mechanism, to unlock the medication container. The user may then input the credential into the locking mechanism to unlock the medication container and access the medication therein.

CLAM SHELL COVER CAP AND METHOD OF USE
A clam shell cover cap device is a lockable closure which fits over existing medication vials used in the pharmacy and medical industries. It comes preset, with a random combination. The combination is marked with an indicator sticker. The clam Shell Cover Cap may be used to lock a vial.
Systems and Methods for Tamper-Resistant Securing Device for a Container
In some embodiments, systems and methods for a tamper-resistant securing device for use with a closeable container include a housing assembly, a lock member, and an identifier. The housing assembly can be configured to be moved from a sealed configuration to an unsealed configuration. The lock member can be at least partially enclosed within the housing assembly and the lock member can be configured to be moved between an unlocked orientation and a locked orientation. The identifier can be accessible when the lock member is in the locked orientation. The housing assembly and the lock member are configured to inhibit or permit movement of the lock member based on the sealed or unsealed configuration of the housing assembly.
Devices and methods for storing and transporting substances
Devices and methods for storing and transporting substances. Such a device includes a base having a compartment for containing the substance, a lid closing the compartment and coupled to the base to selectively permit access to the compartment within the base, a cavity defined by the lid, the base, or at least in part a combination thereof, and an unlocking mechanism that immobilizes the lid relative to the base when the compartment is closed by the lid and releases the lid to enable the lid to pivot relative to the base to open the compartment. The unlocking mechanism is recessed within the cavity a distance from an opening of the cavity at an exterior of the device, and the unlocking mechanism is sufficiently recessed to be accessible with an adult's finger but not a child's finger.
