Method, system and apparatus for guiding and tracking medication usage
Methods and systems are provided for tracking and guiding a patient's clinically directed medication usage. Medicaments are placed in secure passive packaging that must be unlocked to enable dispensing of a dose or a set of doses. This packaging is designed to be difficult to open manually, and instead is designed to dispense only when used in combination with an unlocking device. The unlocking device is a separate device containing electronics, mechatronics or both, to unlock and dispense from the packaging and to track and guide usage. Together, the secure container and the unlocking device track medication usage, deter an excessive rate of patient usage, and deter unauthorized access to medication.
Smart Closure with Keypad or Biometrics
This disclosure relates generally to a smart closure for any container that has lock/unlock features, and can be accessed using keypad or biometrics, also including RFID, Bluetooth, or wireless control and communication. This can also include monitoring solutions, with data logging. For example, time of access, temperature, weight, or other environmental conditions. The closure and container assembly present a positive lock mechanism designed to provide an affirmative indication that full closure has been attained.
CONNECTORS FOR ALLOWING AN ENGAGEMENT AND FLUID PASSAGEWAY BETWEEN MEDICAL VESSELS
The present invention relates, in some embodiments thereof, to connectors having cavities and systems comprising same for allowing an engagement and fluid passageway between medical vessels. A clam shell cover cap device is a lockable closure which fits over existing medication vials used in the pharmacy and medical industries. It comes preset, with a random combination. The combination is marked with an indicator sticker. The clam Shell Cover Cap may be used to lock a vial.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MULTI-MODAL DOSING DEVICE
Provided is a system and method for multi-modal dosing of a product. The system provides a control base for coupling to one of a plurality of different cartridges containing product, at least two cartridges having different modalities of deliverythe coupled control base and selected cartridge providing a dosing device. Each cartridge has at least a unique identifier, which may be read by the control base and correlated through a database to confirm that the user is authorized to use the cartridge, and use of the cartridge for a dose of product will not conflict with other products received by the user and known to the system. Cartridges that are not coupled to the control base are non-functional and cannot dispense product as intended with the system. An associated method of use is also provided.

Transfer system for containers
A transfer system for containers comprises at least a first container (1) and at least a second container (5) that can be interconnected in a media-transferring way by a connection system (7). An encryption system (13, 21, 25, 31) is provided to allow or prevent a media-transferring connection between the respective assignable containers (1, 5).
PILL DISPENSER
A pill container and dispenser includes pill dispenser cap having a rotatable carousel with a pill-receiving chamber. The carousel is rotatable between a position in which the chamber receives pills from a storage component of the pill dispenser, and a position in which the pill can be dispensed from the chamber to a user. The pill dispenser includes systems for detecting the dispensing of the pill, and systems for recording and/or reporting pill dispensing events to a mobile device or remote server to allow compliance tacking. Some embodiments of the pill dispenser require a removal tool to remove a cap assembly from the storage compartment. Some embodiments including a locking ring that prevents the removal tool from removing the cap assembly. The locking ring must be damaged in some embodiments to remove the locking ring from the container.
