KNITTED TISSUE SCAFFOLDS
Staple cartridge assemblies for use with surgical stapling instruments and methods for manufacturing the same are provided. Scaffolds for use with a surgical staple cartridge and methods for manufacturing the same are also provided.
WATER SOLUBLE FIBERS WITH POST PROCESS MODIFICATIONS AND ARTICLES CONTAINING SAME
A fiber having a surface region and an interior region includes a polymer comprising at least one of a vinyl acetate moiety or a vinyl alcohol moiety, the fiber having a transverse cross-section including the interior region comprising the polymer having a first degree of hydrolysis and the surface region comprising the polymer having a second degree of hydrolysis greater than the first degree of hydrolysis.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING MULTI-HOLE ULTRA SOFT YARNS
The present invention provides a method for successively introducing water soluble fibers into finish fibers (e.g. cotton) to produce a hollow and ultra soft structure, by introducing water soluble slivers into the center of a multi-hole feeder with multiple cotton fiber slivers arranged around the water soluble fiber in a pre-drawing process via a multi-hole sliver feeder. A plurality of these fibers can be drawn together to produces a fiber having multiple water soluble fibers. A cloth, e.g., towel, can be made using the method.
Fabrication Process for Manufacturing a Knitting Piece
The present invention discloses a fabrication process for manufacturing a knitting piece, which comprises the following steps: (a) preparing a base material: firstly preparing a base material, and then placing the base material on an textile machine; (b) performing piece knitting: embroidering a corresponding pattern on the base material by the textile machine according to a set program, thereby obtaining a desirable semi-finished knitting piece; and (c) dissolving the base material: taking down the semi-finished knitting piece obtained in step (b), then processing the semi-finished knitting piece and dissolving to remove the base material in the semi-finished knitting piece, thereby obtaining a finished knitting piece.
POLYMER YARNS FOR FABRIC STABILITY AND UNIFORMITY, PLIES MANUFACTURED THEREFROM AND ARTICLES COMPRISING THE SAME
Disclosed herein is a composite ply comprising fill and warp tows; or optional axial and bias tows; wherein one or more of the fill tows and/or the warp tows or wherein one or more of the optional axial and/or bias tows comprise a polymer yarn while the remaining portion of the fill tows and/or the warp tows or the remaining portion of the bias and/or optional axial tows comprise the polymer yarn; and wherein the polymer yarn is melted to bond to the fill or warp tows to prevent removal from the ply.
ARTICLE HAVING A KNITTED COMPONENT WITH A STRAP
In one aspect, the present disclosure provides an article formed of a knitted component. The article may be an upper for an article of footwear. The knitted component may have a first portion and a second portion, where the first portion of the knitted component at least partially forms a foot-receiving portion of the upper, where the second portion of the knitted component at least partially forms a strap of the upper, where the strap includes a first edge and a second edge secured to the first portion of the knitted component, and where the strap includes a third edge that extends from the first edge to the second edge.
ADHESIVE TEXTILE
Textile with an adhesive effect containing at least one stitch-forming adhesive thread. The adhesive thread has a component that imparts an adhesive effect at least at a surface thereof.
SOLUBLE MATERIAL FOR THREE-DIMENSIONAL MOLDING
The soluble material for three-dimensional modeling that is used as a material of a support material that supports a three-dimensional object when manufacturing the three-dimensional object with a fused deposition modeling type 3D printer. The soluble material for three-dimensional modeling includes at least one copolymer comprising a specific hydrophilic monomer unit and a specific hydrophobic monomer unit. The present invention has a glass transition temperature suitable for the FDM system, has a high dissolution rate in an alkaline aqueous solution, can be quickly removed from a precursor of a three-dimensional object, and makes it possible to suppress or reduce damage to a three-dimensional object.
KNIT FABRIC PRODUCTION METHOD, FABRIC PRODUCTION METHOD, AND SEWN PRODUCT PRODUCTION METHOD
A knit fabric production method includes a step of producing a knit fabric K1 from an untwisted yarn Y0 while producing the untwisted yarn Y0 by disposing a fiber bundle FB around a linear core member CP formed of a soluble polymer, falsely twisting the fiber bundle FB by using an air flow swirling in a predetermined first direction and simultaneously causing open end fibers OF to adhere to an outer circumferential surface of the falsely twisted fiber bundle FB by using an air flow swirling in a second direction opposite the first direction, and untwisting the falsely twisted fiber bundle FB.
DISPERSIBLE WIPES REINFORCED WITH A BINDING AGENT
Disclosed is a wet wipe, for example, a dispersible wet wipe. The wet wipe may include a base sheet comprising short length fibers; a dispersible binding agent reinforcing the base sheet; and a wetting lotion. The dispersible binding agent may be configured to bind the fibers of the base sheet when the dispersible wipe includes liquid at an amount of at most 400 wt % from the weight of the base sheet and to disperse in excess water if the amount of the water exceeds 500 wt %.
