Abstract

Textile with an adhesive effect containing at least one stitch-forming adhesive thread. The adhesive thread has a component that imparts an adhesive effect at least at a surface thereof.

Claims

1. A textile with an adhesive effect containing at least one stitch-forming adhesive thread, wherein the adhesive thread has a component that imparts an adhesive effect at least at a surface thereof.

2. The textile according to claim 1, wherein the adhesion promoting component of the adhesive thread is selected from a group consisting of elastomers and self-stick adhesives.

3. The textile according to claim 1, which is formed as a knit or crocheted material fabric, wherein the adhesive thread is embodied as a mesh and runs at the surface of the flat textile material in at least some sections to form an adhesive surface on the textile material.

4. The textile according to claim 1, which is a woven or nonwoven fabric, wherein the adhesive thread is designed as a loop and runs at the surface of the flat textile material in at least some sections to form an adhesive surface on the textile.

5. A method for producing a textile with an adhesive effect, the method comprising: a) supplying an adhesive thread containing the adhesion promoting component, b) reversible masking of the adhesion effect of the adhesive thread, and c) forming the masked adhesive thread as a stitch-forming thread or loop in a textile material or to produce a textile material.

6. The method according to claim 5, wherein the masking of the adhesive effect in step b) is accomplished by applying a masking layer, which covers the adhesive surface of the adhesive thread essentially or completely.

7. The method according to claim 6, wherein the masking layer contains or consists of a polymer that is soluble by means of a solvent or a solvent vapor.

8. The method according to claim 6, wherein the masking of the adhesive effect in step b) comprises the substeps: b1) supplying a masking thread, b2) winding the masking thread around the adhesive thread to form a masking layer.

9. The method according to claim 6, wherein the masking of the adhesive effect in step b) comprises the substeps: b1) supplying a masking solution or suspension, b2) bringing the adhesive thread in contact with the masking solution and allowing the solution or suspension to cure to form a masking layer.

10. The method according to any claim 5, further comprising the additional step: d) demasking the adhesion promoting component on the adhesive thread formed as a mesh or loop in the textile, by removing the masking layer on the adhesive thread.

11. The method according to claim 10, wherein the removal of the masking from the adhesive thread to be processed in step d) takes place by washing the textile in the solvent and/or treating it with solvent vapor.

12. The textile with an adhesive effect produced by the method according to claim 5.

13. A sock, comprising the textile according to claim 1.

Description

[0035] The invention is described in greater detail by the following exemplary embodiment, without considering this to be restrictive.

[0036] FIG. 1 shows a detail of a mesh material, in particular for use as a base body of a bandage containing a knitting thread 10 and another stitch-forming knitting thread 20. Elastic rubber threads 30 are inserted into the woven fabric. According to the invention, the stitch-forming thread 20 has a tacky adhesive surface, which is exposed after knitting the thread 20 by washing off the mask in the finished mesh material. The stitch-forming thread 20 with an adhesive surface runs at the surface of the mesh material in at least some sections, where it imparts a nonslip effect.
