Denim and other compression garments and methods for forming the same
Provided is a compression garment formed of a stretchable woven fabric with a uniform elasticity, such as denim. A circumferential portion of the garment surrounds a wearer's body part and is characterized by different degree of stretching but the same circumferential compressive forces when worn by a wearer, at various axial locations due to geometric cuts made to the fabric to form one or more fabric panels, each of which extend along the entire length of the circumferential portion. The compressive forces, degrees of stretching and circumferential lengths of fabric, are calculated using formulas and algorithms that take into account various factors relating to the fabric and the garment being formed.
CYLINDRICAL EMBEDDED MATERIAL FOR MEDICAL USE
Provided is a cylindrical embedded material for medical use, in which a plurality of structure bodies are connected in an axial direction, wherein the structure body elements each have an enclosure part configured for enclosing inside thereof, wherein the cylindrical embedded material connection part in which a structure body element of a first structure body and a structure body element of a second structure body connected in the axial direction, wherein the enclosure part has a spacing part to separate the fibers, wherein the cylindrical embedded material has a covering part, and wherein the covering part has elasticity which allows for movement of the fibers to narrow the spacing part when an external force is applied to the structure body element and allows for restoration of positions of the moved fibers when the external force is removed.
STRETCHABLE NANO-MESH BIOELECTRODE AND METHOD OF FABRICATING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a stretchable nano-mesh bioelectrode having excellent air permeability and durability. Specifically, the stretchable nano-mesh bioelectrode includes a nanofiber elastic mesh sheet including polymer nanofibers formed by electrospinning; and a metal nanowire network having a portion impregnated onto the nanofiber elastic mesh sheet.
Filamentary core for an elastic yarn, elastic composite yarn, textile fabric and apparatus and method for manufacturing said elastic yarn
A filamentary core for an elastic composite yarn, particularly for an elastic textile composite yarn, comprising at least two elastic performance filaments, wherein each of the at least two elastic performance filaments is capable of being stretched at least about 2 times its package length and has at least 90% up to 100% elastic recovery after having being released from a stretching 2 times its package length.
DURABLE AND LAUNDERABLE CUSHIONING AND INSULATIVE FABRICS AND STRINGS AND METHODS FOR MAKING SAME
Disclosed is a stitch-bonded string comprising at least one stitched line extending in a machine direction and fibers emanating from the at least one stitched line. The at least one stitched line comprises a plurality of loops and said plurality of loops enclose substantially all of said fibers. The stitched line is gathered to reduce a dimension of the plurality of loops holding said fibers within the loops. The stitched line's weight is less than 20%, preferably less than 10%, and more preferably less than 5% of the total weight of the stitch-bonded string. The fibers have a basis weight ranging between 30 and 400 grams/meter.sup.2, preferably between 40 and 350 g/m.sup.2, preferably between 50 and 300 g/m.sup.2 or between 100 and 250 g/m.sup.2. Methods for making the string are also disclosed.
MOISTURE ABSORBING FABRRIC BLEND
A moisture-retentive fabric medium includes a hydrophilic, thermoplastic polyester fiber as a blend of from 10-905% or 20-80% by total weight of textile fibers and 90-10% or 80-20% by total weight of hydrophilic textile fibers and less than 0.5% by weight of total fabric medium as microfibrillated cellulose fiber and less than 0.05% by weight superabsorbent polymers, the polyester having a melting point between 190-500 F when measured in accordance with ASTM D-3418.
COMPOSITE MATERIALS COMPRISING SYNTHETIC DRAGLINE SPIDER SILK
Composites based on a polymer and a mixture of proteins derived from a MaSp (major ampullate spidroin) protein are provides. Further, methods for preparation of same, and method of use of the composites are provided.
FUNCTIONALIZATION OF FOREIGN MATTERS IN LYOCELL-METHODS AND MOLDED BODIES THEREOF
A regenerated cellulosic molded body of cellulose and at least a part of at least one foreign matter, and is produced by supplying a starting material which comprises cellulose and at least one foreign matter, transferring at least a part of the starting material with at least a part of the at least one foreign matter into a spinning mass which additionally contains a solvent for solving at least a part of the cellulose of the starting material in the solvent, and extruding the spinning mass to the molded body, and subsequently precipitating in a spinning bath.
Multi-layer woven fabric article
A multi-layer article of woven fabric includes a woven base layer; a woven mesh layer, disposed above the base layer, the mesh layer utilizing a first common warp for each one of a plurality of stacked wefts; and a woven binding layer, disposed above the mesh layer. The base layer and the binding layer share a second common warp.
Braided Swim Suit Strap
A swimsuit customization system including a garment configured to cover at least a portion of a wearer’s torso, having a first side loop and a first top loop on a left lateral side of the garment and a second side loop and a second top loop on a right lateral side of the garment. A strap having a first end and a second end opposite the first end, being removably inserted in the first side loop, the second side loop, the first top loop, and the second top loop. The strap being arranged on the garment defined by the position of the strap in the loops and the order the strap is inserted through the loop. Wherein the first end of the strap is connected to the second end of the strap.
