LEG GARMENTS AND RELATED METHODS
A leg garment (1, 1′, 1″, 1′″, 1″″), comprising a flat-knitted basic knitted fabric part (3, 3′, 3″, 3′″, 3″″) forming at least one foot part (2, 2′, 2″, 2′″), with at least one first functional zone (4) which is knitted into the basic knitted fabric part (3, 3′, 3″, 3″″) and which is formed to accommodate a heel of a foot, wherein the flat-knitted basic knitted fabric part (3, 3′, 3″, 3′″, 3″″) is sewn together by means of a longitudinal seam (5, 5′, 5″, 5′″, 5″″) to form a tubular knitted fabric, wherein at least one first functional zone (4) is knitted into the basic knitted fabric part (3, 3′, 3″, 3′″, 3″″) in such a manner that in the worn state of the leg garment (1, 1′, 1″, 1′″, 1″″), the longitudinal seam (5, 5′, 5″, 5′″, 5″″) connecting the basic knitted fabric part (3, 3′, 3″, 3′″, 3″″) is arranged outside the sole of the foot at least in a heel area.
METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING A CIRCULAR-KNITTED COMPRESSION GARMENT
A method of constructing a compression garment, for example, a sock, formed of a knitted fabric that includes an elastomer compression inlay yarn introduced into a predetermined first selection of needles on a first knitting machine finger position and first and second pattern yarns introduced into a predetermined second selection of needles on second and third knitting machine finger positions, the first selection of needles and the second selection of needles collectively defining a predetermined pattern. When the predetermined second selection of needles is raised to take on the first and second pattern yarns, the elastomer compression inlay yarn deflects predetermined ones of the second selection of needles radially inwardly to define an annular space into which the pattern yarns are dropped in an offset relation to the elastomer compression inlay yarn. The first and second pattern yarns are plated to respective outer and inner surfaces of the fabric, and the elastomer compression yarn are inlaid to the inner surface of the fabric.
SOCK WITH INTEGRALLY KNIT GRIP STRIPS OF VARYING WIDTHS
Aspects herein include a sock having integrally knit grip strips where a first area of the grip strip has a first number of grip yarn knit courses and a second area of the grip strip has a second number of grip yarn knit courses different from the first number of grip yarn knit courses.
COMPRESSION SOCK
A compression sock includes a sock body made of a compression fabric which is formed by interweaving a plurality of first main and auxiliary yarns. Each first auxiliary yarn has a plurality of first yarn loops surrounding a corresponding first main yarn. The sock body includes a leg portion having a top end composed of a single layer elastic fabric which includes a plurality of interwoven second main and auxiliary yarns. Each second auxiliary yarn has a plurality of second yarn loops surrounding a corresponding second main yarn. A weaving density of the second yarn loops is smaller than that of the first yarn loops such that a binding pressure of the top end is smaller than that of the sock body.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING YOGA OUTER SOCKS WITH SILICONE BAND ATTACHED THERETO
Disclosed is a method of manufacturing yoga outer socks with a silicone band attached thereto by forming a temporary connection part using ultrasonic waves without a seam between an outer sock upper and a sole part, adhering hot melt to the temporary connection part via heat fusion, and then fusing a silicone band onto hot melt to prevent slipping of the heel. Accordingly, the yoga outer socks are manufactured by forming a temporary connection part with ultrasonic waves without a seam and then adhering hot melt to the temporary connection part via heat fusion to simplify manufacturing processes and to achieve excellent productivity.
Antimicrobial fibers
The invention provides an antimicrobial fiber which exhibits excellent antimicrobial properties even without the addition of antimicrobial agents and can remain antimicrobial even after repeated washing. The antimicrobial fiber comprises a fiber having on a surface thereof a polyacetal copolymer (X) containing oxyalkylene groups, the molar amount of oxyalkylene groups in the polyacetal copolymer (X) being 0.2 to 5 mol % relative to the total of the molar amount of oxymethylene groups and the molar amount of oxyalkylene groups.
RIP RESISTANT, NON-PILLING FINE KNIT GARMENTS
The present invention relates to knits that can be used to make rip-resistant sheer hosiery or similar garments, using a specific combination of UHMWPE fiber and stretch fiber, such as spandex. The knit has rip-resistant and anti-microbial properties. Details are provided to avoid problems with pilling and the appearance of bald spots during use. A variation of the knit is useful for activewear.
GARMENT WITH MOISTURE TRANSPORT ZONE
In order to create a garment, comprising a knitted base body that comprises a moisture transport zone, wherein the moisture transport zone is knitted from at least one base yarn and at least one moisture transport yarn, and wherein the moisture transport zone extends along a longitudinal direction of the moisture transport zone running in parallel to a wale direction of the base body from a first end to a second end, in which garment a particularly effective transport of moisture, in particular of perspiration, from the first end to the second end of the moisture transport zone is achieved, it is proposed that the moisture transport zone comprises at least one moisture absorption region in which the mass of the moisture transport yarn contained per course increases along the longitudinal direction of the moisture transport zone.
Sock with integrally knit grip strips of varying widths
A sock has integrally knit grip strips where a first area of the grip strip has a first number of grip yarn knit courses and a second area of the grip strip has a second number of grip yarn knit courses different from the first number of grip yarn knit courses.
Method For Ink-Jet Printing A Silicone-Based Composition Onto A Textile Substrate
A method for ink-jet printing a two-component silicone-based composition onto a textile substrate is presented. The composition includes a first component having at least one silicone polymer and a second component having at least one cross-linking agent. The method includes the following steps: providing a printing system having at least one print head, itself having at least one print nozzle of spraying the two-component silicone-based composition onto the textile substrate, and a device for producing relative movement between the print head and the textile substrate, spraying the first component and the second component onto the textile substrate via the print nozzle cross-linking the silicone polymer by reaction between the first component and the second component so as to form a printed pattern on the textile substrate.
