PORTABLE COOLER WITH ACTIVE TEMPERATURE CONTROL
A portable cooler container with active temperature control system is provided. The active temperature control system is operated to heat or cool a chamber of a vessel to approach a temperature set point suitable for a medication stored in the cooler container.
Method and apparatus for loading a lyophilization system
Disclosed are systems and methods for aseptically filling pharmaceutical containers with a pharmaceutical substance and then lyophilizing it. In one general aspect, the system and method can employ a lyophilizer loader subsystem having an interior chamber in communication with an interior chamber of a lyophilizer subsystem via a portal with a sealable door, with the collective interior being aseptically sealable. An articulated robotic arm can be employed to batch transfer to the lyophilizer subsystem container nests bearing the pharmaceutical containers. In one embodiment, the nests may be transferred serially to the loader subsystem, with the articulated robotic arm being configured to transfer the nests of containers in batches to the lyophilizer subsystem. The articulated robotic arm can also be configured to be used to move batches of nests within the lyophilizer subsystem. One implementation includes two articulated arms and a joint rotary wrist driven by two rotary shoulders.
Coolers Including Movable Thermoelectric Coolers and Related Methods
A cooler can comprise a shell that defines a cavity, a container disposed in the cavity, and one or more thermoelectric coolers (TECs). Each of the TEC(s) can have opposing first and second surfaces and be configured to transfer heat from the first surface to the second surface when an electric current flows through the TEC. Each of the TEC(s) can also be movable between a first position in which the first surface does not contact the container and a second position in which the first surface contacts the container.
PACIFIER FOR COOLING OF ORAL TISSUE
A pacifier for cooling of oral tissue including: a nipple having an outer shell forming an outer chamber which is configured to retain a first cooling medium having a freezing temperature below 0 degrees Celsius, an inner shell forming an inner chamber positioned inside the outer chamber and which is configured to retain a second cooling medium having a freezing temperature above the freezing point temperature of the first cooling medium to assist in chilling the first cooling medium; a handle coupled to a proximate end of the nipple; and a shield positioned between the handle and the proximate end of the nipple.
MEDICAL TRANSPORT CONTAINER MONITORING USING MACHINE LEARNING
Systems and techniques may be used for monitoring a medical transport container. A technique may include, receiving data from a sensor, for example corresponding to a component of a medical transport container. The technique may further include generating a classification model using a machine learning technique, classifying the data using the classification model, and outputting a score from the classification model. The technique may determine whether the score has traversed a threshold value, and responsive to a determination that the score has traversed the threshold value, output an indication related to the operational status of the component of the medical transport container.
Temperature Control Bottle Assembly
A temperature control bottle assembly for heating and cooling drinks includes a base control apparatus and at least one conductive bottle apparatus. The base control apparatus comprises a cylindrical housing having a pair of semicircular depressions extending towards a bottom side defining a left half, a right half, and a divider wall extending therebetween. A heat exchange is coupled within an inner cavity and comprises a CPU, a heating element disposed beneath the right half, and a cooling filament disposed beneath the left half. A power supply and a plurality of controls are in operational communication with the heat exchange. The conductive bottle apparatus comprises a bottle and a thermally conductive bottom plate coupled to the bottle. The bottom plate has a pair of semicircular protrusions corresponding to, and selectively engageable with, the pair of depressions of the housing to control the temperature of the bottle contents.
Portable cooler with active temperature control
A portable cooler container with active temperature control system is provided. The active temperature control system is operated to heat or cool a chamber of a vessel to approach a temperature set point suitable for a medication stored in the cooler container.
Pacifiers and Teething Devices and Related Methods
Teething devices include a flexible teething member having a hollow interior and partially defining a cavity. A swallow shield coupled with the flexible teething member has a hollow interior and partially defines the cavity. The swallow shield is configured to prevent swallowing of the teething device. A reservoir coupled with the swallow shield has a hollow interior partially defining the cavity. In some implementations an opening in the reservoir provides access to the cavity for introduction and removal of a liquid/gel therefrom, and a closure member is configured to couple with the reservoir in a liquid-tight configuration. In other implementations the cavity is permanently sealed with liquid/gel therein—the teething device including no opening to access the cavity. In implementations the flexible teething member forms a nipple shape. In other implementations it is shaped and sized to simultaneously contact all twenty deciduous teeth of an infant.
Orthotropic and Orthodontic Oral Device and Method
A hygienic oral pacification device includes a fluid-filled bladder. The bladder includes a nipple and alveolar ridge-mating flanges. The bladder is dynamically shaped and allows for pressures provided by the suckling child to re-shaping the bladder and flanges. A bite-block extends into the bladder to maintain a fluid path from nipple to flanges. As the child completes the suckling cycle, the bladder nipple is depressed and fluid is forced in the engorging flanges. The flanges thus cover the alveolar ridges and fill the vestibules. Hard pads set along a superior surface of the nipple are compressed against the maxilla palate and provide lateral force to encourage expansion of the palate. The nipple may be bifurcated into left and right opposing lobes which can split laterally to enhance lateral force on maxilla.
Fluid container with input/output shroud
The phase-change accommodating rigid fluid container disclosed herein includes a variety of features that protect the container from phase changes of a fluid stored therein. As a result, the container may be in direct contact with the fluid without any flexible membrane or bag there between. For example, the fluid container may include one or more of matched pairs of recesses for physical manipulation of the container, stiffening ribs extending between the recesses, and input/output assemblies acting as inputs for fluid into the container, outputs of fluid from the container, and vents for pressure equalization of the container.
