COORDINATE DATA CREATING DEVICE, SEWING MACHINE AND PROGRAM
A data storage unit configured to store a sewing order and a coordinate data of a needle location in association with each other; a coordinate data adding unit configured to create the coordinate data of a new needle location on a line connecting three or more continuous needle locations in a sewing order stored in the data storage unit in accordance with a distance from the needle locations located at both ends of the line to the needle location located at an inside of the both ends when the three or more continuous needle locations are on the line; and an added coordinate data creating unit configured to create a new coordinate data by adding independent original values to the X-coordinate value or the Y-coordinate value in each of the coordinate data are provided.
Sewing machine
In a sewing machine, an arm includes, on one side thereof in a first direction, a head. A needle bar is disposed at the head to reciprocally move in a second direction. A feed mechanism feeds a workpiece from one side toward the other side of the head in a third direction. The projection unit disposed at the head projects a projection image toward a bed. The projection unit includes an emitter for projecting image light of the projection image. The photographing unit disposed at the head captures a photographing target. The photographing unit includes an incident portion on which light reflected by the photographing target is incident. The emitter and the incident portion are disposed further toward the one side of the arm in the first direction than the needle bar, and further toward the one side of the head in the third direction than the needle bar.
Variable or multi-gauge tufting with color placement and pattern scaling
A shiftable backing feed or shiftable needle assembly is utilized with a tufting machine having reciprocating needles and gauge parts for seizing or cutting yarns wherein yarn placement patterns can be utilized to tuft at different gauge densities while maintaining the same pattern sizes and appearance.
Method of projecting sewing pattern pieces onto fabric
According to the present invention there is provided a method of projecting images of sewing patterns as templates onto fabrics. The contemplated application for the invention includes sewist making an article of clothing. As such, images of the patterns to be sewn are stored in a storage device for latter access from a computing device that sends them to a projecting device for projection. The projecting devices is then positioned, graduated, calibrated, and set for optimizing the cutting of the fabric. Thereafter, the operator may interactively modify the projected image, and as such initiates the cutting of the fabric, in accordance to the projected sewing patterns.

APPLIQUE DATA MANAGEMENT APPARATUS, SEWING MACHINE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM STORING APPLIQUE DATA MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
A controller acquires sewing data for sewing an applique piece on a sewing target material, the applique piece having a shape having a hole, the hole being a closed area surrounded by at least part of the applique piece, identifies a contour of the applique piece while distinguishing an inner contour and an outer contour, the inner contour being the contour defining the hole of the applique piece, the outer contour being the contour other than the inner contour, determines, based on the acquired sewing data, whether an inner stitch and an outer stitch are arranged at positions closer to each other than a particular distance or at positions overlapping each other, and outputs an error notification in response to determining that the inner stitch and the outer stitch are arranged at positions closer to each other than the particular distance or at positions overlapping each other.

PROCESSING DATA GENERATION DEVICE, EMBROIDERY SEWING MACHINE, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A processing data generation device includes an input portion, a processor, and a memory. The processor is configured to receive a detection signal of the input portion. The memory configured to store computer-readable instructions that, when executed by the processor, instruct the processor to perform processes. The processes include pattern identification processing of identifying a target pattern, region specification command acquisition processing of acquiring, via the input portion, a region specification command to select, as a cutting region, a first region surrounded by an outside of the target pattern and by the target pattern, and processing data generation processing of creating processing data for cutting out, from a workpiece to be cut, the cutting region specified by the region specification command, as an applique piece.

Non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, embroidery pattern displaying device, and method
A non-transitory computer-readable medium stores computer-readable instructions. The instructions, when executed, cause a processor of an embroidery pattern displaying device provided with a capturing portion and a displaying portion to perform steps. The steps include detecting a marker associated with an embroidery pattern arranged within an augmented reality space from a real image that is an image of a real space captured by the capturing portion. The steps include displaying, when the marker is detected from the real image, a pattern image indicating the embroidery pattern associated with the detected marker, superimposed on the real image with the detected marker as a reference, on the displaying portion.
