WASHING MACHINE AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a washing machine includes a rotating tub configured to accommodate laundry, a water supply pipe configured to spray water over a surface of the laundry. The washing machine also includes a controller configured to execute a water supply cycle in which an operation of each of the rotating tub and the water supply pipe is controlled and water is supplied to the rotating tub. The washing machine further includes a wash cycle in which the laundry is washed and the controller executes a first cycle in which the rotating tub is rotated faster than a rotational speed in the wash cycle so as to discharge air contained inside the laundry before the wash cycle is terminated.
WASHING METHOD WITH INFUSER IN A VERTICAL LOAD WASHING MACHINE (AQUA)
The present invention relates to a washing method for textiles, which prevents the clothes to be washed from becoming disarranged, entangled or knotted by means of an intensive agitating cycle with asymmetric and symmetric agitating cycles in combination with soaking periods thereby achieving optimal washing with low water consumption.
DRUM WASHING MACHINE
A drum washing machine capable of performing washing applicable to various washings is provided. The drum washing machine includes: an outer tank provided in a shell; a drum, which is provided in the outer tank and configured to rotate with a horizontal shaft or an inclination shaft inclining relative to a horizontal direction as a center; a driving part, configured to be operated in a first and second driving form, the first driving form refers to a form in which the drum and a rotating body are enabled to rotate at different rotation speeds, the second driving form refers to a form in which the drum and the rotating body are enabled to rotate integrally at a same rotation speed; a control part, configured to control actions of the driving part.
Washing Machine Appliances with Temperature Control Features
Washing machine appliances and methods for operating washing machine appliances are provided. A method includes receiving a desired water temperature selection, and causing water to be flowed through a valve assembly to a nozzle, the nozzle operable to flow water into a tub of the washing machine appliance. The method further includes receiving, when the desired water temperature selection is an unregulated water temperature, an initial sensed water temperature from a temperature sensor, and causing the valve assembly to adjust a temperature of the water flowed through the valve assembly when the desired water temperature selection is an unregulated water temperature and the initial sensed water temperature is below a predetermined temperature threshold.
LAUNDRY TREATING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
A laundry treating apparatus includes a drum and a rotator. The rotator includes a bottom portion positioned on a bottom surface of the drum, and a pillar protruding upward from the bottom portion and having a blade disposed on an outer circumferential surface thereof. A controller controls a driver such that the rotator performs an ascending and descending motion for forming an ascending water flow or a descending water flow at least once in a washing cycle of laundry. The controller performs a method for controlling the laundry treating apparatus and controls the driver such that a rotation in one direction and a rotation in the other direction of the rotator are performed by different amounts of rotation in the ascending and descending motion.

Apparatus for treating laundry having a plurality of bent portions and controlling method thereof
A laundry treating apparatus includes a cabinet, a tub provided inside the cabinet, a drum rotatably provided inside the tub to accommodate laundry, a motor directly connected to a rotation shaft of the drum, and a controller configured to control the driving of the motor according to any one of a plurality of preset drum driving motions. The controller controls the rotation of the motor to receive a physical force greater than a static frictional force acting between the laundry and the drum from an inner surface of the drum during a process in which the laundry falls to be in contact with a portion of the drum when a first motion of the plurality of drum driving motions is selected.
Drum type washing machine and operating method of the same
A washing machine for washing laundry may include a drum type washing machine having a tub, a drum, a water pressure and/or level sensor, an air flow path, a bubble detecting sensor, and a controller. The bubble detecting sensor may be along the air flow path of the tub in order to detect whether bubbles, suds or foam are generated within the tub and/or whether the bubbles, suds or foam exceed an acceptable amount. When the bubbles within the tub are detected and/or exceed the acceptable amount, the washing machine (e.g., the controller) may perform a preset or predetermined bubble removing course or procedure to remove or reduce the bubbles.
WASHING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
A washing machine may include a drum rotationally arranged for containing laundry, a motion detector configured to detect a motion of the laundry, and a controller configured to control rotation speed of the drum based on the detected motion such that the laundry shows a predetermined motion.
OPTIMIZING SOAK TIME IN A WASHING MACHINE APPLIANCE
A method of operating a washing machine appliance is provided. The washing machine appliance includes a rotatable basket and a motor configured to drive the rotatable basket. The method includes sensing an attribute of articles in the basket. The method also includes determining a pause duration for an agitation operation based at least in part on the sensed attribute of the articles in the basket. The method further includes performing the agitation operation for a period of time. The agitation operation includes activating a motor of the washing machine appliance to agitate the articles within the basket for an agitation duration and deactivating the motor of the washing machine appliance for the pause duration. The period of time is equal to the sum of the agitation duration and the pause duration.
