The invention is directed to a food product for use in the prevention, inhibition or treatment of tooth decay and other dental conditions, diseases and disorders, wherein said food product is a chewing gum comprising at least one cannabinoid.

The present invention is to provide a composition for skin soothing, which is safe from a risk of side effects, and relates to a composition for skin soothing containing a liquid-phase plasma. The liquid-phase plasma of the present invention is obtained by applying plasma as pure energy to a liquid-phase material, and can be used in the skin sensitive to a chemical material without a risk of side effects. Furthermore, the liquid-phase plasma has remarkable effects on the prevention or treatment of dermatitis or photo-aging due to ultraviolet light, and thus is expected to be greatly used in beauty care and mechanical fields.

Cosmetic products with a high concentration of propolis bioactive components produced using a new method that achieves increased concentration of, beneficial for skin health, phenolic components. The increase in the concentration of bioactive components is achieved by incorporating a piece of beeswax of specific dimensions into the cosmetic product after having been sprayed with propolis tincture. In the cosmetic product the extraction of the bioactive components of the propolis (terpenes, phenolic components) takes place assisted by the surfactants of the cosmetic product.

The present invention provides a simple method for producing a medical/cosmetic sheet that is excellent in adhesion to skin or the like and sense of wearing, and is capable of releasing a functional component gradually and supplying it continuously to a treatment area or the like, and a medical/cosmetic sheet produced by this production method. Provided is a method for producing a medical/cosmetic material including a step of shaping a raw material containing a water-soluble salt of a first polyanionic polysaccharide having a viscosity-average molecular weight of 10,000 or lower, and a water-soluble salt of a second polyanionic polysaccharide having a viscosity-average molecular weight of 50,000 or higher, and thereby obtaining a water-soluble shaped body. A medical/cosmetic material produced by this production method is also provided.

A depilatory wax additive and process. The depilatory wax additive may modify a depilatory hard wax composition to include visual, olfactory, or skin treatment components. A depilatory wax additive may include molded hard wax component and glitter, a color modifier, a scent modifier, or a skin treatment. A preexisting hard wax composition of solid particles may be heated to a liquid. The depilatory wax additive may be added to the liquefied preexisting hard wax composition, mixed, and heated to disperse the glitter, a color modifier, a scent modifier, or a skin treatment in the wax mixture.

A dental flosser is provided for delivering to a mouth a moisture activated composition including a flavor agent. The dental flosser comprises a base portion forming a handle and terminating at a distal head portion. A pair of spaced apart arms extend from the head portion, each of the spaced apart arms having a proximal first end adjoining the head portion and a distal second end. A length of dental floss extends between the distal second ends of the arms. A surface of at least one arm of the pair of arms defines a cavity between the first end and the second end forming a well for accommodating the composition. The width of the cavity in a plane parallel to the surface of the at least one arm is substantially the same or greater than the width of the bottom of the cavity.

The present invention relates to a dissolvable or at least partially dissolvable film for treating skin wrinkling and discoloration. The film includes the active components ascorbic acid and retinol. Upon contact with water or other appropriate cosmetic vehicle, the wetted film is applied to the skin surface. The film releases the active components, which are absorbed by the skin and used by the body to provide positive cosmetic effects.

A beauty care product comprising a sealable plastic container, a sealing means and a beauty care component is provided, wherein the container of which is resistant to random, uncontrolled deformation under a substantial pressure differential between the environment and inside the container, yet having an affordable cost of manufacture and/or being appealing to the consumer. Sponges for cosmetic and/or medicinal applications are coated with a surface coating. The surface coating contains an elastomeric, non-silicone polymer, a certain silicone polymer, an encapsulated phase change material and optionally ceramic particles. The coated sponges have desirable haptic properties and efficiently absorb and release make-up and medicines for application to the skin.

Compositions, kits, and methods for repairing bonds, for example, disulfide bonds, in hair or on the skin are disclosed. The compositions provide improved conditioning benefit for dry hair or moisturize the skin. The compositions also provide a long lasting moisturized feel and smooth feel to the skin or hair, without feeling greasy. The compositions contain one or more compounds that covalently bind at least two thiol groups in the hair or on the skin. Use of the binding compositions prevents reversion of the repaired bonds to their free thiol state, for at least one week or one month, or more, after a single application of the composition. Improved methods of styling hair, for example permanent hair waving, hair curling, hair coloring or highlighting, and hair straightening, are also provided.
