W/O emulsion for impregnating nonwoven fabric
11464714 · 2022-10-11 · ·

The invention relates to a W/O emulsion for impregnating nonwoven containing 10-60% by weight of vegetable oil, 0.1-25% by weight of emollients, 10 to 50% by weight of water, a lipophilic emulsifier, an inorganic salt as well as at least one antioxidant, wherein the emulsifier is polyglyceryl-4-diisostearate/polyhydroxystearate/sebacate and the viscosity of the emulsion is 250-600 mPa.Math.s, determined using a DIN measuring system 33 according to ISO 53019 at a temperature of 293.15 K and at a rotation speed of 500 r/min.

Hydroentangled airlaid web and products obtained therefrom

A water disposable nonwoven web having good MD and CD strength is provided. The nonwoven web is obtained by hydroentangling an airlaid web of no less than 50% by weight of natural cellulose fibers having a fiber length of no more than 3.5 mm and no more than 50% by weight staple fibers having a fiber length of no less than 8.0 mm. The nonwoven web contains no adhesive, binder or thermal bonding fibers. Products containing the disposable nonwoven web meet municipal guidelines for flushability.

Delivery system for active agents

The present invention belongs to the area of cosmetics, especially to a delivery system for actives to the skin, such as face masks and facial masks. Particularly, the present invention refers to a delivery system consisting of a basic body comprises nonwoven fibrous materials and an active-substance preparation which is an o/w emulsion or w/o emulsion, and a wetting liquid that comprises one or more actives to activate the delivery system.

CLEANSING COMPOSITIONS

A cleansing composition and method of using a cleansing composition, the cleansing composition including a blend of three different emollients, the emollients including a first stearic ester, a second stearic ester, and a branched hydrocarbon, where the first stearic ester and second stearic ester are different from each other.

TOPICALLY TREATED TISSUE PRODUCT

Disclosed is a low-cost, in-line process for treating a fibrous web with a lotion. The process generally involves passing a web through a nip formed by a pair of opposed surfaces, where one of the surfaces has been treated with a lotion having a penetration hardness greater than 5.0 mm. As the web passes through the nip, the lotion is transferred from one of the opposed surfaces to the surface of the web. In certain instances, the web may have a textured surface and only a portion of the web's textured surface is treated with a lotion.

Adhesive patch to oral cavity having improved stability and usability

The present disclosure provides a patch which is attached to a tooth or oral mucous membrane and releases an active ingredient to a portion attached, in which the patch comprises a drug layer having an adhesive surface attached to the tooth or oral mucous membrane and a backing layer laminated on the drug layer, and comprises at least one reticular structure inside the drug layer, and is divided into at least 2 drug layers at the boundary of or by the reticular structure. In particular, the patch have a restricted extensibility.

Creped single ply tissue

Provided are tissue products comprising a single ply tissue web that has been prepared by a creping process and more preferably by a print creping process adapted to dispose a non-crosslinked latex polymer on at least one of the outer surfaces of the tissue web. The creped single ply tissue products generally have a low degree of stiffness, such as a Stiffness Index less than about 8.00, and are highly durable, such as a Durability Index greater than about 12.0. In other instances, the tissue products may have very low levels of lint or dust, such as a Slough less than about 4.00 mg, even at basis weights from about 45 to about 55 grams per square meter (gsm) and tensile strengths from 600 to 1,200 g/3″.

Creped multi-ply tissue product

Disclosed are multi-ply tissue products comprising a non-crosslinked binder that are durable, smooth and with low levels of Slough. In certain instances the creped tissue product have a geometric mean tensile (GMT) from about 700 to about 1,500 g/3″, a basis weight from about 45 to about 60 gsm and a Slough less than about 2.00 mg, more preferably less than about 1.50 mg, such as from about 0.10 to about 2.00, such as from about 0.25 to about 1.50 mg. The inventive tissue products also have good durability, such as a Durability Index from about 10.0 to about 20.0, smooth surfaces, such as a TS750 value from about 15.0 to 40.0 and low stiffness, such as a Stiffness Index less than about 10.0.

DYEING OR LIGHTENING PROCESS USING A HAND-HELD STYLING DEVICE AND A SUBSTRATE
20230139146 · 2023-05-04 · ·

The present invention relates to the use, for dyeing or lightening keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair, of a hand-held styling apparatus (1) equipped with at least one treatment surface (2d, 3d) partially or totally covered with at least one substrate (6) comprising a surface (6a) coated with at least one layer (6b) containing one or more dyes, preferably chosen from oxidation dyes and/or direct dyes, and/or one or more oxidizing agents. The invention also relates to an assembly (11, 24, 26) intended for dyeing or lightening keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair, comprising at least one aqueous composition and at least one hand-held styling device (1) as defined above.
