A laundry treating apparatus is disclosed. The laundry treating apparatus includes a housing, a tub provided inside the housing, for storing washing water therein, a drum rotatably provided inside the tub, for storing laundry therein, and a top cover provided above the housing to cover upper portions of the tub and the drum. The housing includes front and rear and left and right sidewalls to define a space therein, and an extending portion formed to have a front and rear spacing and an up and down spacing from the top cover above the front sidewall so that an entrance space is formed from the front upper portion of the front sidewall to the inside of the housing.

A wall mounted washing machine reduces operating noise and prevents impacts caused by physical contact in advance, the machine includes a cabinet having a front surface and a rear surface to be opened to form an appearance; a tub disposed in the cabinet, the tub operable to be filled with wash water; a front panel installed in the tub; a drum rotatably installed in the tub; a cover installed in the front panel and having a door hinge; and a door rotatably coupled to the door hinge and having a door inner frame and a door outer frame coupled to each other. The cover includes a gap holding portion integrally formed on a lower outer surface of the cover to prevent interference between a lower outer surface of the door inner frame and a lower outer surface of the cover which face each other.

A wall mounted washing machine and a door thereof are disclosed, which are capable of fluid or moisture discharge. The wall mounted washing machine includes a cabinet having a front surface and a rear surface to be opened to form an appearance; a tub disposed in the cabinet to store wash water, a front panel installed in the tub; a drum rotatably installed in the tub; a cover installed in the front panel and having a door hinge; and a door rotatably coupled to the door hinge and having a door glass supported by a door inner frame and a door outer frame which are coupled to each other. The door includes a trap portion disposed around the door glass for guiding a fluid flow which flows through a gap between the door glass and the door inner frame.

A wall mounted washing machine and a door thereof are disclosed. The wall mounted washing machine includes a cabinet having a front surface and a rear surface to be opened to form an appearance; a tub disposed in the cabinet to store wash water; a front panel installed in the tub; a drum rotatably installed in the tub: a cover installed in the front panel and provided with a door hinge; and a door rotatably coupled to the door hinge and having a door glass supported by a door inner frame and a door outer frame combined each other. The door includes a door inner frame disposed toward the cover; a door outer frame coupled to the door inner frame; a protective glass provided on the front surface of the door outer frame and formed with a hole at its one side; and a door opening button exposed to the outside through the hole of the protective glass, the door opening and closing employing an electronic opening and closing system. The door opening button does not extend to out of the protective glass.
Flange structure at bottom of inner tub of washing machine and a washing machine
The present invention discloses a flange structure at a bottom of an inner tub of a washing machine, comprises a shaft joint portion locating at a center of the flange and an annular mounting portion which is fixedly connected with the bottom of the inner tub of the washing machine and is at an outer periphery of the shaft joint portion, and a plurality of connecting portions being provided between the mounting portion and the shaft joint portion. The connecting portions include a main rib extending from the mounting portion to the shaft joint portion, and a plurality of transverse ribs are arranged on both sides of the main rib along an extending direction of a main rib respectively in turn, and a filter portion is formed by the plurality of connecting portions cooperating together, which is a region between the mounting portion and the shaft joint portion.

A washing machine appliance includes a tub positioned within a cabinet. The tub has a wall and a plurality of ribs extending from the wall. A secondary wall is positioned on the plurality of ribs opposite the wall of the tub such that the secondary wall is spaced from the wall on the plurality of ribs. The wall of the tub, the plurality of ribs and the secondary wall define a plurality of cavities between the wall of the tub and the secondary wall. Each cavity of the plurality of cavities is at least partially filled or fillable with a liquid.

The bearing housing insert may include at least one bearing. The bearing housing shell may be overmolded with a plastic portion of the cylindrical tub.

The bearing housing includes a cylindrical hub having bearings, a stator mounting portion surrounding the hub, the stator mounting portion having concave portions and convex portions formed in a repetitive pattern in a circumferential direction, and an expansion portion surrounding the stator mounting portion, the expansion portion having radial ribs formed in a repetitive pattern in a circumferential direction.

According to a tub for a washing machine according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, a bottom portion, an outer side wall portion, an inner side wall portion, a water flow passage side wall are integrally formed by injection molding so as to form a water flow passage. An apparatus and a method of manufacturing the tub for a washing machine according to the exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure allow the bottom portion, the outer side wall portion, the inner side wall portion, and the water flow passage side wall to be integrally formed by injection molding.
LAUNDRY MACHINE
A laundry machine includes first and second washing units including first and second tubs, respectively. First and second drums are mounted inside the first and second tubs, and first and second drive units drive rotations of the first and second drums around first and second rotational shafts, respectively. The second washing unit is arranged above the first washing unit and has a smaller laundry treating capacity than the first washing unit. The first rotational shaft is not parallel to the second rotational shaft. A first recess projects downward from a rear lower surface of the second tub and is configured to heat wash water in the second tub. A metal plate member is provided on an outside lower surface of the second tub, and partially extends to the rear of the second tub to expose a bottom surface of the first recess.
